Yep. It's also bears noting that he got caught before the game was started, and he began the game while the proceedings occurred. Though, I do think it's worth checking it out despite that if only to see an MC even more pathetic than Sensei.

There's a variable for missing the last Sara Event saraspring5miss but it's not set on the script. Red path should miss this event cause on the script there is no branch for missing nodokathon.

If the event is missed it's called The Puppet.

You're not able to see The Puppeteer until you see the event before it which will be red on missing nodokathon 2 (And it has to be during the week). It looks like it was supposed to be flagged as missed alongside the other events in autopatch.rpy. It will probably be fixed in the same way next update.

Edit3: At time of release there is a bug for red path that doesn't flag Sara 3 as missable, but its requirements are only fulfilled in the green path. It is, in fact, missable - and the bug is likely to be fixed in a later update. Thanks to chikipiki and shmurfer for checking the script.

man, 4 missable events dealing with the nodokathon aftermath huh. And that's not counting how many will be missed with the incoming oyakodon threesome, and, I guess, Haruka's Nodokathon aftermath as well.

Even if you count future events about the threesome as "Sara" events, I wonder if red path will just cut Sara off, cause her story seems totally focused on that from now on - and I can't see Selebus devoting his event slots to two different paths for a side character.

Edit: It does make you wonder if at some point he'll start regretting giving the player the option to reject Haruka, Maki and Sara - in terms of how convoluted it makes his story mechanics.

Cut off from anything important definitely, I imagine we get the upcoming threesome, and a variable set based on that a'la tsukasacurious. You may be misinterpreting the reaction. I think it's much less (or at all) that we think Akira is a hero, and much more that either 1. we (as readers) just want anyone to tell Ami off, or 2. that Akira's at least finally doing something.

Well... I've caught up for the most part. Still haven't finished 0.50 but I feel like I'm getting tired of this shit.
I dunno lads, either I'm just tired tired, or Sel is losing his mojo. Chapter 4 has been the worst in terms of moving the plot forward. Ch1 gave us the world exposition, Ch2 tore Sensei down bit by bit, Ch3 rebuilt him in his own eyes and started sorta redemption arc (before spectacularly shattering it at the end) and Ch4 is... him being sad and dysfunctional?

I know Sel doesn't like upsetting the status-quo, but fuck me, something has to move in relation to the main fucking character! Or the story! Or anything at this point!

Chika losing her shit and breaking - good, yes, awesome - she is so fucking irrelevant now that it hurts.

Maya agreeing to learn shit about "old Maya" and actually being a supportive girlfriend - amazing, cool, yeah - that was stated how long ago? 3 updates? 4? Still hasn't done shit. Except agreeing to Ami threesome only to be molested by her during the reset and getting openly cucked.

Niki moving in and wanting to change something - holy fuck yes, that is very promising! - it didn't change shit. Invites are still a thing and Akira deflowered a girl on the couch while she's at home. And from what I've read - it's even less relevant now, coz Ami's a fucking cunt.

Ami being an insufferable incest goblin - hasn't she always been? Since like chapter 2? Della was one of the best events of Ch4 and I was hoping that Ami would see some change moving forward, but not "more of the same psycho manipulative bitch" change. That's not a fucking change, she literally was doing the same abusive shit in Chapter 3.

Sana turning into a nympho - yeaah, okay, a bit of a stretch, but sure - aaaand she's just unhinged now. I get being horny, I get being destructively horny, but that stunt at Sensei's house and with Sara in 0.49 is just... Not very believable. Molly is destructively horny, so she does stupid shit like trying to actively seduce her teacher, lashing out at a girl who's fucking her crush and rationalizing her own rape. Sana is like "fuck it we ball" and she's terrified of spaghetti. That's just bullshit.

Io is getting some characterization besides self-deprecation - awesome! Stomachache was extremely uncomfortable, on par with Lavender's Green - but she still feels like a side-character. Same with Uta.

Tsuneyo and divine stuff - yeah, great! - it didn't change shit globally.

Pros:
Tsubasa is interesting and mysterious.
Chinami/Tsukasa subplot was amazing. Shame it went fucking nowhere.
Rin finally stops being gay, hooray! Only took 5 years.
Yumi and her story is awesome, from patching things up with Akira to having Pareidolia sit in her head.
Kyoto is insanely good.
Sekai is really interesting.

The rest of the cast are doing jack shit for almost 2 years real time. Chapter 3 ended in October 2023.

I think even a couple years more. I believe he said chapter 4 would last another year awhile back, so maybe end of 25 or into 26? I think chapter 5 will go into at least mid 27. Then he says a short chapter 6 (Dark Route), then 4 years for purity routes at least, 35 characters at 20 or more events, and if he now only does 180 events a year due to fan fest.... I predict until at least 2032. Geez I will be in my 60's then. Hope I am still alive and able to retire by then.

The "Akira finally showed some backbone" comments about that scene have been a bit irksome for me too but I think people are more-so just focusing on the Ami part in things there because they feel it's nice to see her knocked down a peg for once. I'm sure no one here would try to argue that Akira's actions in those events were commendable and yeah, he's definitely got some nerve...But at the same time it's kind of cathartic to see Ami not come out on top for once. I know a lot of people here have had a hate-boner for her since Halloween lol and as several have pointed out it's interesting to see Akira glimpse past her façade for a moment.

But yes, you are of course correct that Akira's not really got a morale highground here to be pissed at Ami from when he's the one who gatecrashed his girlfriend's weekend get-away and fucked her little sister while she was in the same building - plus she had no part in their decision to remorselessly continue fucking upon being caught and for 5 hours more subsequently. Noriko's decision there was especially disappointing to me considering she was traumatised herself by Ami in a similar position and she still had no problem doing the same thing to her own sister X10 lol I find it quite weird that some people consider this a win for Noriko, honestly, but I don't really feel like writing an essay on all that.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I won't be around by then. I'm just hoping the purity routes I want most come early lmao (Yumi/Yuki/Niki/Ayane/Sara are the ones I'm most eager for at the moment)

Selly said that this year chapter 4 would last a few more years, yes, in the plural, so there's a big chance it won't even end next year and only on 2027-2028, thinking positively, it could last much longer than that since this will be the longest chapter of the game.

I couldn't agree more, Akira didn't "put his foot down", he flailed around like a baby because he wanted to scapegoat someone else for his misdeeds and not come to terms with the fact that he's a rotten piece of shit.

This event did more to humanise Ami than anything else and she was completely right about literally everything in her blowup.
