Maybe it was a really successful candy shop?
I don't think Yuki would've been sucking on (insert Yumi's dad's name here) lil smokie if it was successful.

With it being confirmed that Yuki and Tsubasa were childhood friends(hopefully with benefits) I think Tsubasa's family may have bought the candy shop and that's how they became friends similar to Ayane, Touka and the dojo.

""From the horse's mouth" is an idiomatic expression that means receiving information directly from the source, from a person who has firsthand knowledge or is directly involved in the matter. This implies that the information is reliable and trustworthy because it comes from the most reliable or original source of reference. The expression suggests that the information is not rumor or secondhand account, but rather the truth as known by the person who experienced it or is closest to it."

Selly, don't give me hope that Akira will genuinely open up to Wakana about his past. I don't want to be disappointed, don't give me hope ;-;

Eh, would it really change anything? She already knows he's the boy from Sekai's poems
There's a big difference between knowing someone's trauma and that person opening up about that trauma to you, especially since Wakana is, in my opinion, one of the most "responsible" adults in LIL right now, so I want to see what she'll say to Akira if he's really opening up to her.

I swear I'm gonna fucking lose it if it goes the "uwu I got gangraped but your dick is so big and amazing that it would be like it never happened I love you" route. He doesn't deserve it, he hasn't earn it.

I think it will be awhile before stuff will happen with Yuki since chapter 4 is supposed to be a long one.

Also, really great reads from you and everyone about our pathetic protagonist.

I'm personally tired of it already, a bunch of other characters have gone over this topic with him and Niki has said everything there is to say in the last update.
I'm more hoping Wakana will focus on Ami and her insanity.

Have there been other characters that talked to Akira about what Sakai did though? He kinda hinted around the bush with Maki, but didnt go too deep. Wakana only really talked about Sekai as a poet and that there was a boy she wrote about that seemed to imply a inappropriate relationship, but that was only vague ( which the title From the Horses Mouth might signify she's getting the straight story finally). Other than those 2, I don't remember him mentioning anything to any of the other girls until this last update; and 2 of them are teens and the 3rd doesn't want much to do with him now.

Now, we've seen lots about it and have had the Gods and other beings involved in those convos too, but I can't recall any of the real people where there was an convo beyond something very superficial.

A lot of characters have in different levels.

I do agree that I hope Wakana's focus is on Ami though. My wish for Akira is for him to be put under medical care or straight up castrated - and I don't see Wakana doing that for him.

I'm really scared about having hope. Niki was told similar things straight from the horses mouth at least two times, seemed to listen in earnest both times, but didn't believe it until she saw it.

I did forget about Io in stomachache completely. Although, I feel that was more about Io's past than Akira's. Like "My mom was a piece of shit and your SIL was too". But she 100% does condemn Sekai; just that most discussions with Io never really lead anywhere as her and Akira just drag each other down deeper into a pit of toxicity

Osako I thought was more about her relaying Wakana's concerns with Ami's poetry and her taking after Sekai and less about Akira getting molested by her. I might be wrong, I could deff be forgetting some of their convos in Chapter 4 when they become friends and open up to each other

The Supernatural characters, I'm not sure how best to take any scenes with them. Like they provide insight to US, but the story is driven by the in game characters and it seems like most of them either treat that stuff as a crazy nightmare, or just straight up forget what happened. I really don't know how reliable they are or which are even 'real'

I am on the other side though. I hope Wakana's focus is on Akira. You may think he's despicable. Or a useless piece of shit. Or to quote everybody's fav Shrine Maiden, "He's disgusting". But ultimately, he is what drives the plot. When he's happy, and engaging, things happen. When he's sad and mopey, things slow down. We've had this rollarcoaster from him before, just this have been the more prolonged instance.

Same here; I kinda don't want to see yet another responsible woman trying to "reach Akira" with nothing but their own hopeless optimism that she herself doesn't even quite fully believe, especially after what Niki had to go through. Whoever responsible woman that genuinely loves the dude should just call the cops after knowing the truth, breaking everyone's heart including their own so that maybe he could finally have a chance to get real help, or could at least put a stop to something he does but despises himself for. At this point any generic pep talk or personal take on Sekai's supposed influence on him really shouldn't be the first thing they think about.

I can understand Otoha or Osako not doing so because they instead don't want to risk ruining the "someone else" they love. But Wakana or Imani? If they find out, confront Akira, cry and become unavailable for two updates, talk to someone else that isn't Akira, then come back alive ready to try fixing Akira again with another BS approach, I don't know I might be grumpy about it unless that BS approach is camping. Such is the fate of responsible women in this game who aren't even allowed to consider doing the one right thing that will untimely lead our journey to an early game over.
