Does anyone know if you can keep Alexisthymia unlocked? For me, everytime I close the game, it goes away. My 0.4.5 trigger after Ami-Maya torture goes away as well. I have to replay (not in the replay menu of course) that scene and then Amy to unlock it, and even after that, if I close the game it resets as locked and my trigger disappears too.
You can, yeah. Mine's still unlocked in any case.

You've got something set to read only. These variables are set in a persistent file outside of regular saves.

Alexisthymia should unlock once and permanently. Meaning that not only it would unlock in your current playthrough, but also if you started a new one. Something is either reverting the flag, or you're not getting the flag for some reason.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If you'd like to try to fix it through URM, this is what you have to change:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If nothing else works, you can just download a current green path save - but that's obviously not optimal. You should be able to fix it on your end.

This flag is set to true once I have done the events and doesn't even show up through searching if i haven't.

I bet this is it somehow. Do you happen to know a fix? I could try reinstalling and keeping my normal saves if its a problem with the files.
Also, while I have you guys: Does the game always end in Backwards Dancing's replay, or is that just me again?

As in the game shuts down? I just gave it a try on replay and it went back to my run like normal

For the flag issue, try running the game in administrator mode, or editing the "persistent" file (to not be read only) in you save folder. You could also try editing the entire lessons in love folder to "not read only", but that's overkill. 1756952465617.png

For the "Backwards Dancing", I'm also unsure what you mean. It should end here:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
If you watch "backwards dancing" from the replay it will just throw you back at the replay screen when done.

Setting the persistent file to not be read only didn't work. It became read only again. Running in administrator mode also didn't work. I tried set all of LiL to not read-only. Also didn't do anything. As in, I unchecked read only, hit apply, waited for it to all apply, hit done, reopened properties just in case, just to see that read only was once again checked. How does that even happen?
EDIT: I also checked anyway just in case. Didn't work.

As for backwards dancing:
Mine has messed up Ami come in and say that I didn't look at all the hints and cheated for my playthrough on the puzzles. She then closes my game. But that can't be right as I definitely did use all the clues AND I continued past that point normally on my playthrough. I don't know why my replay doesn't think so, though.

Also, I don't have Tsuneyo's "Commit a terrible sin" outfit. Which is impossible, because I did and I hated it.

I maybe should've brought up these bugs much earlier. Also, does URM say you've installed URM every time you open the game and load a save? Or do I just need to purge this whole folder? Lastly, whenever I open the save menu, it always opens the first page. Not the latest I used, but the first. I started noticing this after disabling DRM I think and only happens with this RenPy game.

Where have you got the game installed, it sounds like you've put it in a non public location like program files where programs aren't given full permission since vista. Or you're playing it in some restricted setting like a school, library or work computer which might be forcing programs to run with reduced permissions.

If it's a computer you're the administrator on just have it be in a "Lessons in Love" folder on the desktop or base folder on a hard drive.

Backwards Dancing is failing on you for the same reason, there's a persistent flag that needs to be set which obviously exists outside of save files normally. It's set inside Something Everyone Knows and Ignores which is part of the same reset, to punish people using a guide instead of playing the puzzles

...Actually, I did a little bit of googling. Did you mess with your save token?

So, for the "may be a bug, may be evidence that chapter 4 still won't be over when we regain control" corner, the Miku lust naming event is technically not a requirement for anything. Unless Sel fixes that, or makes a weird red path choice, or you get thrown into the sandbox to finish that event, chapter 4 is still not over. Or has that happened before (carrying an event between chapters) and I'm just building castles in the sky?

My folder is on my desktop, so it should have all permissions. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the problem isn't specific to my location.
I definitely messed with my save token a few years ago (def before update 0.4.5.), but honestly the fact that there are repercussions now is a bit insane to me.
Did the Tsuneyo profile outfit unlock fail for the same reason?

Anyone know what the basement means?

We know Alexis can get into Mall from the cracks.
I remember Amy kicking her ex into a hole in the basement.
We see a baby in the same basement with a message that we can't get out of the script. And asks about if we will fix "her".
Later we see a baby in the Sally sells seashells, which woke up Ayane.

Is the mall a gate betweeen happy events? Is that how baby of "alexis" got in the hands of "Alexis"?
Is the lost baby of Ayane in chapter 2, taken and raised by different Ayane's in different realities?
Or the baby is used as a tool to wake Ayane's in other realities?

Does anyone remember where "Apollo, Peerless God of Dolor" was previously mentioned? Its the only one not in my notes. The closest things I have is Apollo the clown and Toukas Horse.

The former. I think it's only mentioned once as an image.
EDIT: Oh dear, I just noticed even knowing about that, you won't really get what all of it is about.

This is the only mention of Apollo in the game files, besides that one gag segment with Touka's horse, unless I'm missing something in one of the many happy images.
A creator of many, yet a peer of no one. If you call him a clown, you’re a bother.
His domain is familiar. His power is unmatched. He’s the one we call Sorrowful Father.
No idea how you'd get Apollo from this unless you're meant to just go with process of elimination.

Speaking of this event, there was some manipulated audio in it as well, right? Slowed down, reversed, I don't know. Anyone feel like taking a crack at figuring it out?

Unless there's an extra message hidden in it, it's just the text in the background downpitched and maybe put through a filter.
