Anyone has a full save? I've missed some events and the game and puzzles are way to big or a pain for me to do everything from the start

the game sounds interesting to try and digest through some freaky or obscure stuff that happens in it, and a pretty big time sink at that, I´ll install the guide mod then, gotta not get lost on the 150 hours of content if it really is that big.

There's a puzzle guide on the first post as well, if you feel like you're stuck it's a good place to start. Also I can almost guarantee you won't run into something new so the search bar will be your best friend

Wonder if there's a hard mode puzzle guide. As in, it tells you in which event to search a specific answer, not the answer itself. Or just a list of events per reset that you need to revisit.

Not one easily linked here. You can occasionally find single bits of questions. I kinda doubt there would have been one on the lilcord but that's also a moot point now.

And technically this last reset isn't obvious for Apollo either. Kinda wondering if it's a trap or it's entirely image based and even the image doesn't have the name on it.

Very late but finally trying to start on 0.52 content and first event trigger won't trigger.

Did not playing any on 0.51 before updating to 0.52 screw something up and need to download whole game from scratch? Grabbed Guide Mod to ensure I was completely done with 0.51 and I was. Any guesses would be appreciated

It should just auto start. Have you gone through 2 weeks just to make sure?

And you said you updated to 0.52 without playing 0.51. Did you at least download the 0.51 patch and update that properly?

Another piece of advice I'll throw your way. On your first playthrough, make a save for every moment that feels weird or has some narrative tension going on. It's a better way to look back over an event than the replay function, and as you get more invested into the story, you'll naturally want to go back and revisit some events to pick up on some narrative symbolism you missed on the first run. While this will inherently mean you'll have hundreds of saves, I actually forgot to save a few crucial events early in the story, and I've been kicking myself struggling to use the replay function to go back over and look through some foreshadowing.

Since the regulars already covered everything else, I'll say this: Focus on the characters and harem aspect of the game - those are great most of the time, and where the writing shines. You don't have to get the supernatural stuff on the first try, in fact it's advisable that you don't pay it much attention ever.
As a slight counterpoint to this from a player who recently caught up after not playing for a couple years; I think the supernatural plot works a lot better for new players that get to see it sequentially than it does for people playing update-to-update.

That's not at all to say the supernatural plot is perfect, and I would generally agree that the character stories are the strong points of the game, but tbh in chapter 4 I've had more problems with how some of the characters are written than I have with the supernatural plot.

actually i stumbled upon apollo the other day while browsing the wiki out of curiosity. he's mentioned by himawari on the wiki page for scissor angel lady whose name i forget, which i think is just incredibly stupid considering he isnt mentioned once ingame

I can see that somehow Sel could blame us (this thread) about the attack and some shit. At least he confirmed (we already knew) that LiL is going on for 5 more years
Thing I've always wondered about this is whether the halfway done / 5 more years quotes include the purity routes at all, and the main story is closer to 80%

Though my quick guess about how many characters are left to lewd needed 4 more resets so it's probably main story at 50%.

This bigly, I thought I'd be smart and use the replays to handle viewing old events and I was happy I completed chapter 2 in 15 pages of saves, but then I started reaching event chains and sparse saves were starting to fuck me revisiting old events, and some old events don't have music playing in their replays so big moving scenes like Niki confessing in the lobby just feel empty in the silence.

I'm already planning another green playthrough where I do everything the same with all the ridiculous grinding I've done again except basically every event gets a save on top of the interesting dialogue splits. I'll also redo the screenshots I was planning to use as lore quick references because I've fucked too many on my current run.

God help me having to read the bonus dialogue again.

Chapter 4 is also just aging better once the entire reset is completed. There's been a lot of agony that you just to sit and fester in for a month if you're playing per update.
