In Akira's defense, he doesn't really know what we know about Yasu. Also, Akira is Akira.
That being said, I still recall meeting Yasu for the first time and yeah... she was SUPER yikes. It took a long while until my opinion changed. And if you recall she still is kind of yikes (remember her trip with Touka and Akira to the dungeon). I think it's a case of being easier for us to sympathize since we're not actually dealing with her irl.
Another one that was super yikes was Noriko, and we barely remember that now. Anyone recall when she drugged Akira? Yeah, that happened. Funny to compare how they were at their introduction and now. Nodoka was one that was fucking weird from the start asking all those questions a few feet from the rest of the girls and telling Akira to pretend no one was there

It's a few perspectives that have convinced me of it. Game directorally-wise, I think it would be a huge shame if Maya's purity route was used to explain their backstory and the full scene we saw that one frame of loli maya on top of Sensei. The idea of rescuing prime during the dark route is kinda nice ngl, but it would be at the cost of making her purity route all flashback no "focus on me now, we finally have time to relax and enjoy each other", and she's been robbed of that all game. I want her purity route to let her enjoy being herself again (like returning to the festival, then spending the next day entirely inside his home just being together).
If she had a major set of updates after her return but before dark route you could fit that kind of backstory pretty seamlessly. Our current Maya is quite a way off from being prime and her last update showed Sel is ready to start drip feeding her return. A while ago I calculated how much longer we'd have left before a theoretical chapter 6 dark route which I counted it as 4 resets, two resets for an extra chapter's extension to chapter 4 which Sel said was going to be the longest by far (and which would make the name infinite spring actually meaningful) and then a chapter 5 which would theoretically get us back to a more regular feeling LIL with a Akira who has hopefully stopped being a doormat by this point. That kind of time extension would give Maya enough time to get more sentience points if Sel keeps doing it, and then has chapter 5 to talk about that backstory (You could even throw in a bit more shorter term tragedy here. There's a reason I wanted Maya to have invite events and lust grinding before Prime came back)
Ingame evidence, most I could point to is Chapter 3 starting with the idea of losing Maya and ending with actually losing Maya, and the gods threatening to punish him for not taking something that doesn't belong to him, and then punishing him with it by taking Maya. There's a history of these threads being given early, and being followed through on by the end. The gods have instructed him to rape someone, and even after taking Maya away they still want him to do it (Pareidolia still wants to work together in the narration when chapter 4 begins) and they demonstrate they still want him to rape someone when they offer to give Prime back if he rapes Karin, which he refuses to do at the time. If this thread is to be followed through he needs to rape someone who wouldn't be willing in any way, and I've previously discussed who I think the only target left could be. Since then Nao has started to say she thinks Akira's hot so it might be impossible to rape her now which just leans into that harder.

Thanks for the explanations, Moonflare and Shmurfer. LIL is possibly the game with the most dialogue in AVN history; there's a lot to follow, and I often get lost. Thank you guys for explaining so well; you're very intelligent and understand this universe so well. I hope Maya Prime returns soon; she's my favorite character in entire game.

Secondly, from these sections i gathered.
Chika: Start: 14:00 - 16:00, TSS: 20:44 - 23:14 (19 years later)
Futaba: Start: 23:19 TSS: unknown
Makoto: Start: REDACTED TSS: unknown (13 min 9 sec later)
Noriko: Start:19:31 TSS:19:40 (9 min later)
Sana: Start : unknown TSS: unkown (4 days later)
Yumi: Start: 8:47 TSS: 9:00 (13 min later)
What makes me wonder is while some character's start time did not get announced, Makoto's time got REDACTED.
Thinking about the reason made me remember something. All the characters sucked into TSS in normal universe. Makoto was in the alternate timeline/universe when she was thrown to the TSS.
I know some people lost their faith in selebus after il cervo commentery (didn't affect me very much) and his comment about how he made 90 percent on the spot (DID affect me very much) but him announcing he will make tss for every main girl and giving it measurable elements makes me think he didn't just randomly danced on the numpad.
Or i have deprivation of lil and not enough hobbies.
