No I refuse to fall for your falsehoods. My fellows, this heathen is trying to sow discourse among us. Do not believe his lies, he is a false prophet who pretends to be Selebus himself.
I tried to sneak into the LiL discord once, It took Selebus less than 2 minutes to ask me for the code i used to get the 15 day early access. This guy can smell my poverty.
I'm still hoping the parts I don't like about the game are chapter 4 exclusive, and that chapter 4 ends with Prime coming back. Timing wise it could easily line up, and then we'd still have a chapter to wrap things up like what were the tutoring days like, and dealing with the consequences of prime coming back.
There is a non zero possibility that a true playthrough needs you to be a good uncle until you reach the ending where it loops, and then you have to go bad uncle, and there could be extra dialogue spread through the game again for doing so.
But there's other things he could do too. I can think of a way where you would have to use replays to get through a reset puzzle.
As he said, there is a ton of backstory about Maya that we have to delve into and that would require Maya to be present. Given that New Maya is fucking dead, and that Maya Prime seemed to be preserved at the "Replica of Heaven" (Noriko's TSS), we can guess that she's meant to return at some point. Himawari also makes a comment about the scent on Alt Maya Prime's scarf (from the alternate reality/ancient past reset) being nostalgic, and we're now fully under Himawari's plan - so who knows.
Chapter 5 is the last one of the Harem Arc, so it'd make sense for her to return during it. Although I guess there's also an argument for her returning with the Dark Route (chapter 6), since Selebus has said it is a shorter bit of story that "has to happen and that changes things", Maya Prime returning would fit in that description as well among one of the things to happen there.

Thanks for the explanation
Which version would be the "New Maya"? There are so many versions that I sometimes get lost. I hope Himawari has a big impact on Maya Prime's return to the main story; I miss her so much.

I think we're likely to find out what the nostalgic scent refers to during the next update, or at least narrow down the possibilities as we learn more about Himawari's origins.
