After Sana does the Costume competition with a goth costume in one of the early chapter, Wakana offers to give some of her High School Goth stuff. This is probably that.
So I’ve gotten Yumi’s affection to 40 but I’ve only gotten 6 of her events. I try talking to her when I can but nothing is happening. I just got China to give me a hand job and her affection is 32 and lust 6 if that’s relevant. What do I need to do?
To make your life infinitely better, go to page one, check Extra's in the download section, and get the Guide Mod. It's very spoiler free, but it will save you dozens of hours of pointlessly clicking. The game currently takes 200-250 hours depending on your reading speed to catch up to the most recent update. You don't want to waste time trying to find events if you don't have to.

TSS stands for Transpacific Sadness Symposium. It's the name of an event in the game. Definitely don't read my posts on it, as they contain alot of spoilers.
Someone posted a tier list in the past 12 pages showing at what level of sexual encounter you can have with each girl, should be easy enough to track down. Or someone will repost it in reply for you.

Tsubasa has had two sexual encounters with Akira. One was when Sara was giving him head, the second was guiding him in the bathroom. In both of them she was an active part of it, if "just" guiding.
As always, it is up to personal interpretation. If you were married and you wife had a dude by her side guiding into masturbation, would you not consider that a sexual encounter? I think it's one thing to watch passively, and another to give instructions and have them carried out - which makes it active (imo).
For the checklist I always choose to consider something rather than not, because that will, at the very least, make people remember what occasion that is referencing and either agree with it, or make up their own mind about it. Either way, the goal of reminding them of the event would be achieved.

To answer your specific question here you can't progress past Yumi's sixth event until you've seen Rin's ninth event ('Nothing was missing, except me'), which in itself is locked behind a certain level of progression with Ayane and both behind a certain level of progression with the main events (specifically you can't do that Rin event until you've done the main event 'Missing' and Ayane's event 'Imprinting').
The story in LiL is all tight and tied together and it's a very long game, it's not one of those harem games where you can pick your favourite girl and just do her "route" - although every character will eventually have their own monogamous purity route, though that's still years away at this point.
So yeah, like Kll said, download the guide mod for your own sake - not only will it save you a lot of time when the triggers aren't obvious or typical but if you're wanting to make only "correct" choices in order to see every event you've already locked yourself out of a couple of Rin's events down the line because you progressed Chika too fast. That's not necessarily a bad thing mind you, Sensei and Rin's dynamic changes quite a bit depending on how fast you progress Chika so it's interesting to do it this way regardless but I thought you should know lol

I played the first 40 or so hours without the guide mod, using the Wiki to piece things together...and holy shit is the guide mod honestly top tier. Hands down one of the best mods to ever exist for any game.
I'd honestly suggest at this point that playing with it is essential for a new player. A lot of the earlier events can be hard to navigate and find; Until you get used to how the game tends to flow, or you figure out how best to use URM, some events are really well hidden.
Guide mod just fixes all of that, right from the start.

Tbf to him, I personally think he is actually really good at character design. I feel that almost all of the characters are designed in a way that accurately represent their personalities or at least what they are supposed to represent (see CW26's recent analysis on 'stereotype subversion' etc.) while also making them look quite unique.
That being said, I don't believe he actively produced any of the assets, i.e. clothes etc, that they wear other than I guess writing dumb shit on them ("I <3 poor people", "blue shirt" etc.) although I might be wrong on this one, feel free to correct me.
He still, at the very least, decided what they are supposed to look like, what they wear in which scenario, their facial expressions etc. so in that sense I feel like he as a much better knack for good design decisions compared to most developers, at least the ones using the Koikatsu engine.
The only true miss was Osako's initial design, but he kinda fixed her in the meantime anyway.
And Sensei, although I'm sure everyone got used to it by now - he objectively looks fucking dumb. But that's more on KK and completely neglecting male character customization, I suppose.
He also can't draw for shit, if any of the custom abstract renders with his incoherent doodles and his tendency to produce clipart monstrosities didn't give it away already. So it's kinda understandable that he opted not to draw anime characters himself. And him being, let's say, frugal, he also wouldn't commission someone to draw characters for his projects. And AI wasn't good enough yet to help produce anything worthwhile back then either.
Now his financial situation changed of course and apparently he will commission local Japanese talent to draw anime style characters for his next project once he's settled in Japan. I wonder if it will work as intended though, he is actually quite cinematically talented while also being stubborn, arrogant and "sensitive" towards outside feedback. So I wonder if including someone else's art into his work will satisfy him or just cause more trouble or potential artistic mismatches. At least it should save him a lot of time and help him focus on mostly the writing, so in theory it's a good idea, but we will see.

I still don't know wtf you people mean when you say this, she was a background character and is a tomboy, her design was adult tomboy, plain clothes, short hair, function over fashion, simple and utilitarian... how is that a miss? Now she has a girly haircut it's no longer a miss? So hit or miss is determined by how feminine a character looks? Eh? I just don't get it, i liked Osako's original design, i think it fit her personality perfectly well and her new look feels a bit forced, like she's trying to match an aesthetic that isn't her but she wishes was... not that there's anything wrong with that, a woman is allowed to try things and if she wants to look girlier then by all means, but that doesn't mean she is girlier... she'll always be a tomboy deep inside cause that's who she is... and she looked fine before, she just didn't get your dick hard...
