If it's not about whiskey I'd think you guys (apologizes, if I mistook someones gender) try to convince me out of this game :D but yeah, I'm prepared that MC isn't the guy I'm usually playing.

Edit: By the way, lately in one of previous games I was thinking, how it would like being tensei'd into someone else body. This game is a nice experiment.

Pretty sure it was Sekai that was playing the game cause another part of the text mentions how she saw in him a chance to satisfy her darkest desire or something...
It's a combination of multiple things. This is a huge post that deals with a lot of combined evidence of Sekai, Saki and stuff around them, trying to form a timeline. If you don't care for the evidence, you can skip to the second tag.

By the way, while we’re still on the subject of Saki and Yuu, there is a certain glaring detail that (as far as I’m aware) hasn’t really been brought up in discussion yet, and it’s a detail that deepens the mystery of whatever the fuck was going on in Terminal 22 even further:

I don’t really have answers to any of these questions – nor even any particularly good guesses, to be completely honest – but I was just going through some of my notes I made upon seeing “A House Near a Lake (The Same Place as Always)” for the first time, trying to further connect the dots between the characters from Terminal 22, and this specific detail immediately stuck out to me.

Sekai meets Nozomu after Akira's being abused. She saves him and is able to strike Nozomu, to which he doesn't strike back. Akira then starts to have a life again, meets up with Niki, and has an ongoing relationship with Sekai for years. Sekai starts getting physically abused by Nozomu for some reason, and presents (likely) the same blackouts Akira has.
Idle thought, not a real theory, but being literally struck by a god that created the universe (or whatever it is Nozomu created) would probably fuck up your brain a bit Eldritch-style, wouldn't it?

Man this thread is poppin today, got off work and there are like 3 whole new pages of discussion. I see we have another new player too, that's fun!

In my opinion, I hope there aren't many more people related to Akira than already explicitly established (Ami, Himawari, and Nozomi). If Nodoka, Sekai, etc etc are all related to him, it gets to the point of "why?" for me, like what does it really add to the story if every character is somehow his sister-cousin-grandma?

(That said, if he's somehow Sana's dad due to time travel I'm on board (but only if it "makes sense" (in the context of LiL)))
For me I think the point is potentially a sort of meta-commentary on the tropes of dating sims/visual novels in a similar vein to Totono (You and Me and Her) or DDLC (Doki Doki Lit Club). As if the overarching narrative is attempting to answer the question of "what if the MC and all of the love interests had children in each of the routes and then they all met in a new dimension/world/etc and had their own romance...?" Or something like that. Having all characters be related to the "MC" of the original timeline aka Yuu from Nothing is Beautiful very well might be the exact thing that Selebus is trying to explore, who knows. No idea if that's what he's actually doing or what he's planned out but it sounds like something I would do if I wanted to try and add some spice to the genre.
That's the perfect answer, thank you! :) readen about guide mod and I always love to start game without it and try myself first. I see it's still not updated almost two weeks after game update and I usually download games I like the very first day it gets updated. If it's required, I won't hesitate for a second.
Yep, Moonflare and others already answered pretty much everything but another reason is: if you ever lose your save we post complete saves pretty much every update, however Guide Mod and non-Guide Mod saves are incompatible and since we default to Guide Mod saves it might save you a step in the long run.
Counter point: wiki exists, a have a useful page where all the updates with correlatiled events are listed so you can just go in order.
Yep that's how I (and presumably a lot of us) started out playing the game, just checking the wiki constantly to figure out where to go next. Needless to say, it's a hell of a hassle that's made much simpler by the guide mod.
Do you guys remember this? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That's fucking gold lmao XD wish I was there for that
That's honestly one of the things that keeps me intrigued from the very beginning. I know I'm not long in this game, but my first thought after some gameplay time and after reading few comments was that there may be multiple people tensei'd into MCs body. Hope I'll be able to discover much more about it and that future events won't discourage me from playing in which I doubt will happen, because I may prefer lovely harems, but psychological theme is a thing I like outside of porn games and may like it here too, but just never seen anything good.
If it's not about whiskey I'd think you guys (apologizes, if I mistook someones gender) try to convince me out of this game :D but yeah, I'm prepared that MC isn't the guy I'm usually playing.

I think the story does that on purpose tbf, it really throws you for a loop and makes you think that it's just a standard isekai harem story before pulling the rug from underneath you. Really interesting stuff.

Anyways, welcome to the thread and this wild ride of a game! If you decide to stick with it, feel free to share your reactions if something takes you by surprise or gets you emotional, we are fiending over here for reactions to someone experiencing it for the first time lol. Or maybe that's just me...

I don't think he was a god yet at that time. The big 3 seem to be very different from the rest of the gods we meet throughout the story. I think that's because, unlike the rest, the 3 originated from terminal 23. They seem to have a permanent foothold there.

The Legend of the Huggy Boy was a last minute censoring of all of the explicit content in the game. Bonus is the variable that the game used to separate the two versions. It would also censor certain words like rape to angrily hug, young to young, but old enough to legally consent and uncle to little pogchamp. It ends at the end of chapter 2.
"Police are on the lookout for a suspected serial angry huggist and advise citizens to avoid the area."

I played version v0.21.0 in early 2022 and really liked it.
Please tell me, is v0.54.0 close to completion? If not, how many more versions/how much more time do you think we will have to wait?

They both mean basically the same thing.

Maybe your phone knows something we don't, and it's indicating that Nozomu actually wanted to be a girl all along.
Please tell me, is v0.54.0 close to completion?
Just past the halfway point. 2030 for full game, likely to be around late 2028 (maybe earlier) for the first ending. There will be individual endings for each of the 35 girls before the true end.

If you are trying to wait for the game to be finished before starting to play then you're out of luck. The earliest I would expect this game to reach some form of ending would be around 2029, based on what Selebus communicated in the past.
But also in general, you would basically have to invest hundreds of hours of playtime at that point to go through it all.

My advice is to not treat this like any other game on this site (that you can complete in anywhere between 15 minutes and 30 hours) but more like a live service game that keeps getting updates. Every (monthly) update brings you about 2-3 hours of game time at least, so you can do the math.

That being said, I believe your previous experience was just before the major revamp, so I would advise you to maybe just start from the beginning again at this point, since Sel has included many new and revamped scenes that generally improve the experience, especially during chapter 1.
You will basically be busy for 100 or so hours before you catch up with the current update, so it would take weeks anyway.

Wow.
I'll try to wait until 2029, considering the volume of text, and I'll finish it in a year, just in time for the release of the full version.

is the event forever unreachable?
"Everything is Connected" has to be triggered during the reset. You can miss it either by not visiting the soccer field, or not having enough progression with Miku. The error there is that it should not be present in your guide anymore.

To make sure, go over the happy event tab, and there should be a red crossed line event in the place where "Everything is Connected" should be.

My advice is reload an earlier save and fast-forward all the events you have already seen. It should take you an hour at most (I think less tbh). For the future, always try to conclude character events before any main events (although usually the guide mod will indicate which events will make you miss stuff).

*Another good advice (for a first playthrough, when you don't know what's coming up next) is to make a separate save every day or so of gameplay, at least.

There are many resets in the game but that Happy Event has to be done during the first. If you've already gone past the first reset then yeah, you can't do that Happy Event.

Most resets have one Happy Event that can be found within them so there's quite a few you can miss. It's usually pretty clear from the hint but just for reference the puzzle guide on the first page does also include instructions on how to access the Happy Events too so might be worth just keeping that up in a tab for whenever you hit a reset.
