I think the way you do NTS stuff is excellent. And thank you for telling me it's one of the other routes getting updated this month, I appreciate it.
I'm already really excited about your new game, I know it's going to be just as awesome as nightshine.
As much as I share the praise for the NTS routes and have already done so above, I have also to be honest that I was disappointed with the updated NTR route, and I hope, some constructive criticism is welcome, because I very much wanted to like it. Of course these are all completely subjective thoughts.
It is, put simply, too much, overkill, non stop more of the same. Ari is just mechanically fucking everyone left and right. My problem here is not a moral one, I'm all for a well designed cheating story, I'm all for her giving the boyfriend a hard or very hard time. But the problem is, that it is just in no way motivated storywise or characterwise. It's just not plausible. I simply don't buy the trope of the nymphomaniac who has compulsively to jump onto the next dick just because it comes in view - that's just lazy writing, very much in contrast to the NTS route. The game offers no other explanation and resembles therin the clichees of games of far lower quality. One cannot tell a convincing story or build up tension by saying at every point: well she is horny again and thinks about nothing else. Seeing a new cock is no plotpoint. Even males who in contrast function on testosterone and visual stimuli, do not act that way. The same goes for the boyfriend who now becomes a fullblown idiot who like in those other games doesn't get it what goes on before his very eyes, who just falls conveniently asleep and keeps whining if he should tell her to stop.
This has to consequences: 1. Ari becomes deeply unlikeable and alien (and that destroys her erotic impact regardless of her beauty), and this is a shame, a feeling I just couldn't supress the more I played the update. And this is not because she acts immorally but because this is unmotivated and erratic, random. Therefore her behavior towards the boyfriend becomes pure unmotivated malice, she is simply screwing him over, not out of necessity or emotion or a dilemma, just because there is another guy in the next room who she hasn't fucked yet. 2. Everything becomes repetitive. Edward is an exact duplicate of Joseph, Alice is a parallel to Ari. Why then doing this again this update? The same cocks, the same type of girl. It gets almost comical, like a sexual screwball comedy of grotesque random situations when everybody fucks with everybody. No erotic tension anymore. I guess in porn it is by far better to let the girl do different and more and more depraved things with the same man, than alway the same things with a series of different men.
So the problem lies deeper than Ari being a slut or a whore (what guys here stated earlier and I defended her morally complex greyzone on the NTS route against). I would welcome her as a slut in this route, but one has to understand how and why.

But in order to do that she has to be embedded in forces and bonds with other people who influence her. Sometimes I think, the well-meaning tendency to write characters like Ari as totally unattached, unforced, autonomous entities, who make decisions completely self-determined (which is unrealistic), creates a vacuum, and that is then filled by bland horniness or lust which is seen as emancipatory.
