After the second boss, it lets you go up and left. But if you go left from that new room, you enter the next room off the map, meaning you have to restart from menu. Also, the second boss always respawns after you save and quit (the boss defeated state isn't saved, basically).
Also also: in that room you get after the second boss? You're meant to go up, but they placed the pre-formed ground higher than the ground you're standing on, so the ledge that is normally able to be jumped to is completely out of reach, meaning progress is impossible without editing the game files or possibly getting a damage boost from a mob.
And can confirm about everyone else: the first boss has about a 1/3 chance of softlocking the fight by spawning the things in the terrain. The worms spawned in this fight are the only things in the game which ignore invincibility frames btw, so if you get surrounded you will take a lot of damage fast.
Blocking grants exp for some reason, and can only block specific projectiles (you're luck guessing which I suppose), and nothing else. So if you hate having 10 bullets each recharging over 15 seconds, just spam q to level up and throw all your points into energy (increases max bullet count while decreasing charge time).
You lose control of your character if falling for more than half a second, keeping the last direction you moved (or just falling straight down). Corners of platforms are janky as fuck, as you are very easily able to clip through them a bit, which counts as being grounded. Slopes suffer similar problems, and you constantly jiggle down the slope if you're not moving. After being grabbed, you have a good chance of being clipped in the ground (or if you're grabbed in mid-air, the camera will be bugging out throughout the animation).
The game does not lock the cursor to the window even in full screen, so if you have a second monitor, it is a pain in the ass to use your gun, as you can't see where your cursor is (so likely will end up on the other monitor).
A lot of the animations seem to be done in about 15 fps. The models have no eyelids which sometimes look horrific. Teeth, hair, semen, and a few other things have their emissive lighting turned way high, so they just glow white (her hair is pink btw. just hard to tell).
Save stations fullheal you and repair your "shield" (clothing), but you tend to just stay naked, which allows for extra jank as you can have h-animations triggering despite being meant to be in the clothed state.
The game has achievements in the data screen, most just requiring killing 15 of each type of mob, but those numbers do not persist between loads. The achievements seem to unlock background scenes.
