I can say with 100% certainty that there are supposed to be animations (translated 2 games of this circle before). MTL did fuck up something: the cause might be the code in the text that appears when you get caught, or something related to procedural generation.

one is treasure room where the protag gets stuck in the wall
and another is the green button to open the 3 doors
