It means exactly what it says, the first season of the game is over after this update. Its nothing new that devs split games into chapters, seasons or acts to keep the story focused. The first season of lewd island dealt with the introduction of the characters and how they learnt to get along on the island while a romance was blooming meanwhile we got hints of an even bigger plot line, The intro story arc is mostly finished and the hints of a overarching plot line which has been shown throughout the game will surely take a more central role in Season 2.
On the contrary, now is when the game could take off! Lots of things for the couple to do on the island!
i would imagine them getting rescued from the island and then continuing their relationship in the real world, this would be interesting story wise. but in reality they will just be fucking each other over and over which gets boring
