Most likely it would have to be done via the console. None was used (IIRC) not very long after the second update was dropped. Though I could be mistaken... At any rate, it's been "None" as long as I can remember (yeah, Patreon is a huge buzzkill after what they did with DMD).
I've never tried using the console to make changes, mainly because I've never done it before and the wrong thing that gets typed (or too many changes) borks the game to the point it needs reinstalled. So I've avoided that (not like I don't have enough free time.. I'm always looking for something to do. lol)
I'm surprised there hasn't been a patch released that fixes "None" and changes it back to "Dad". If I knew coding, I would gladly do it and share it with the rest of the class..

I ended up using UnRen to allow me access into the console.

Relationships can be modified at the start of a new game. Using the console/code didn't work.

Sadly, I have to agree with that assessment and I concur. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of originality with these games anymore. It's as if most of the devs raking in the big bucks for games seems to be of the inclination that DMD (and I'm sure a lot of others) are dead these days. That or they just don't seem to care and instead push out clones due to lack of creativity.
This game could actually go somewhere if the developer took the time to create something unique they can call their own instead of reusing the same models to mimic a more popular game.
I am starting to think that even I, a complete newbie to 3D graphic and coding can make a killing with my erotic imagination by making a game and earn by doing it more than I would ever earn

So i downloaded the new update and well 5min later game finished for this version is this correct?

okay, that wasn't even a clever joke. Almost pathetic, honestly.
But not even close to being as pathetic as this update, so i got this going for me, which is .. actually an rather low bar to set. Hot damn, what a shit show. Having the fire-stuff ONE time in the game would be kinda fun (for very liberal uses of the word 'fun'). Something different, something fresh and so on. But he's just reusing this over and over and over and over again. It was lazy the second time around, and now it's just insulting.
But hey, at least now we can be annoyed by the gameplay (or lack thereof) AND the wave-sound! Progress was made, wohoo!
edit: Also i just noticed this is my comment #69 - which is therefore more erotic than this update, go figure.
