I read about last 10 pages of the thread and no one actually confirmed that there isn't any way to fix the snake bug. Is that the case or is there a way? Downloading the bugfix file didn't work though.

I have received several messages from you about the malfunction of version 0.98, which I have not returned to for a long time. As soon as I finish working on the working version of the game on RenPy, I will definitely come back and fix version 0.98. I have carefully studied your messages and will definitely contact you to clarify the details. Now I am absorbed in work and studying RenPy.
This week I will double-check the performance of all links to download the game, as well as Discord.
Due to the transition to a new engine, we had to add a lot of new renderers as well as add recognizable locations. All this turned out to be extremely difficult. Now more than half of the main scenes have already been done, and the most difficult thing is to make the correct sequence of movements through locations and scenes.
I'm working on changing the time of day at locations.
At the moment, new videos and new renderers have been added to the game. Video transitions between locations are made. Added a game chat feature. All this you will see in the next version of the game.
At the moment, all the text in the IIR is written in Russian, if any of you have a desire to help with the translation into English or other languages, I will be very grateful. Now the text is translated in a regular text editor, which is much easier than it was in RPG Maker. In any case, I will start translating soon.

It seems the 0.98 version will stay as it is apart from some upcoming bugfixes. VN version will continue where 0.98 ended.
In a previous post he said:
"Unfortunately, I can't go back to fixing the bugs in LAep2 v 0.98 that some of you are writing to me about. If I do this now, it will again distract me a lot from the main work on the game. As soon as I have time, I will fix these bugs and make a clear ending that will take you to the RenPy version of the game."

this is the first adult game i played a lot of years ago... good to now that the dev is working on a new renpy version thay will continue the amazing Lida story.

You didn't answer my question, I prefer specific answers. Are there any other ways besides corruption? Because if it isn't, the game is shallow for me and there's no point in playing it.I think you have to close your eyes like in "horror movies" sometime...
