man Relax, I’m not trying to start drama or rewrite the dev’s plans.
I already read the dev’s statement — no sexual interaction with other men, got it.

What I’m talking about is how the scene feels from a player perspective.

When a girl says a guy is a perv, doesn’t want to work there, then randomly ends up watching him masturbate and even taking pictures… yeah, that gives off NTR/corruption vibes in a lot of VNs. That writing pattern exists for a reason.


I’m not saying the dev will suddenly drop NTR on everyone — I’m saying the behavior shift is weird and uncomfortable. That’s my honest reaction.


If the scene doesn’t bother you, cool. Enjoy the game your way.
but trying to silence anyone who expresses discomfort is unnecessary

My honest opinion as someone who hates NTR/NTS, over the years I've seen some devs putting NTR/NTS in the middle of game development just to please a small group of people, and that's one of the reasons why people hate NTR/NTS, because the community that likes NTR/NTS always wants to put that tag on games that don't make sense to have, some of them even ended up abandoning their games, and lost a large part of their community/supports for adding NTR or NTS.

The dev said that his game won't have NTR/NTS (There will be no sexual interaction involving the lis and other men), what I mean is let's give this dev the benefit of the doubt, let's not blame him because others devs aren't loyal and trustworthy.

Regarding the photos, it's very likely that MC and Melody will use them against him for bothering her, and I'm guessing that after they take him down (the old perv), it will be the beginning of a relationship between MC and Melody. I agree that it's strange, but it seems there will be other ways to take him down.

Edit: I like this game, I really don't want to see it ruined by NTR/NTS like other games have been, if the dev said there will be no (NTR/NTS) sexual interaction between other men and the lis let's give this developer the benefit of the doubt.

First time playing, and this feels like some kind of weird parallel universe. The MC acts like MILF Brenda walking around naked or in a thong is such a huge inconvenience, she’s literally offering herself and you’re complaining? :unsure:

Then she tells him he can touch her if he wants, while making him hang up a painting of her completely naked. He looks all awkward and uncomfortable… But two minutes later he finds a photo of her and goes, ‘I have to keep this.’
Bruh, pick a side. :ROFLMAO:

That's the funny part all through the game - it's not clear if the characters are used to being this "lewd" around each other or if it's just starting because of new feelings or they're just oblivious and think this is normal

I think the game needs to narrow it's narrative focus and not show what is happening every second of every day of the characters lives. This is probably why the updates might feel pretty hollow. There is a lot of 'and then,' going on. MC goes to the trailer park and then his not daughter has to take a pee and then they see a topless woman and then another thing happens. It's like when you ask someone about their day, they will give you the highlights of the best, or worst things that occurred that day, unless they have the tism and then they might just tell you every little detail.

So far the characters are great, the renders are really good, it's interesting, but not a lot is happening, or being shown. Someone brought up that the mc seems pretty used to his not family showing a lot of skin, but then he flips and goes full perv mode at times and then back to not being phased, so which one is the mc? Now, as for the complaint, not a lot happened, that doesn't mean that we need characters to be fucking in every update, that would be jumping the shark, maybe just condense some of the 'and then' stuff down, so it's more coherent. The other option would be to not release updates as often, if there isn't so many story beats going on, because it will frustrate players if they don't feel like much happened.

These are just my thoughts though. This game has all the ingredients to be something awesome, it's just figuring out the right balance at this point.

What started as me fixing some annoying typos ended up being a pretty sizeable text update to the game:
- Fixed all of the typos I could find. I did a full all-path playthrough but if I missed any let me know
- Added the patch from before and adjusted the scripts to better handle it. The story works almost as well without it - just remove the patch.rpy and patch.rpyc files from the script folder and it will default back
- Fixed the text overall. Since Mr.BlackEyes is obviously not a native English speaker there were a lot of weird expressions that did not quite work so I tried to replace those without changing the meaning. There were also 1 or 2 contradictions/plot holes that are now gone (Emily mentioning being fired then forgetting in the next episode for ex) and some places where wrong names were used
- Everything is .webp now so it should be as small as it gets without lossy compression

Yeah I didn't have issues at all with my playthrough even without the fix. The red X appeared just fine at the top left of my phone. So I can only assume that the people having issues with the phone are probably resuming from a borked save somehow. Easy enough to just start from the beginning since the chapters are short. Maybe nuke the existing saves and persistent file and start clean.
