Icebird I'll double check but I highly doubt it's anything to do with the save games honestly. LifePlay's save games are really simple. We've already established it is because of loading of the clothes.
You can clear the businesses from your previous run by deleting the {CityName}.sav file from C:\Users\{Username{\AppData\Local\LifePlay\Saved\SaveGames - it's sort of a design limitation (only one city modification save can exist for each city at the same time) that requires the player to do some manual deleting
If you can help me beta-test for v2.2, it would be really appreciated.

So. I try variations to save my savegame. The fatal errors gone what i think related to map save, but only helped when i resetted ingame the map with button (not helped when i deleted the file manually, not really sure why). I think the map save overlapping the saved games. If something i change on map the previous saves don't follow. So when i want load back a previous state what is related to location (moved out, buyed new home, moved in with GF, takeover business, etc.) the game mechanic start confusing (loosing gui control, bring back some fatal error, etc). My opinion on this to savegame files must be including the mapsavefile too individually to ability restore some related events.

I don't understand when i start a girlfriend relation why disappear the "Spend time with family" option? This is by design or cause a mod? I don't figured out how restore this. (tried change home location, load back a save (see above), changing relative status on contacts panel) The relatives are live together with me after a homechanging too, but the only way to contact with them to invite date, or waiting a random event.

I see a post somewhere and i support it, the game need (or it will be good to have) the option of interrupt pregnation. Maybe the NPC can have the ability too to make this decision (on bad relationship etc.)
Optionally if (unwanted) birth happen out of home (or relation level, or family) then PC get charged with monthly child support fee as a consequence. I think this is closer to reality.

Well, I am on Linux, but I know where saves are. It's /.config/Epic/LifePlay/Saved/SaveGames But, I only see .sav files which cant be open with text editor. Saves stored in Game installation: /LifePlay/Content/Saves are writable and readable, but I only see parameters for physical look and character stats.

I was wondering if anyone encoutered a crash when you buy that coffee shop near your house and hiresomeone i get a strange error and it crashes to desktop ?? also sometmes the right mouse or left mouse button stop functioning and i need to exit the game and reload it back up again and it will work correctly.

I was windering is there a way to tone down the event system ? i am getting calls left and right every single minute. even though i am just having a meal. lol

Tried again doing a complte rstart of system and turning everything off. I'm getting an error in line 200 messege show up. Still getting told driver isn't upto date. I will get to start screen now and then crash when I try and select any option.

Hey, I think that I found a bug, it happened to me 2 times, It happens after a certain amount of play time ( and I believe after I enter and exit some scenes ), this bug causes the game to not recognize the clicks of the mouse, I mean, the Icon moves to where you click, but you can't select anything else, you can still play and pause the time, I think that the only method to "repair" it is to close and re-enter the game.

all: I'm aware of the mouse click issue (this happens if a scene triggers right in the middle of you trying to click on something) - will fix in 2.2
Fatal error crashes seem to vary between systems and systems (it's caused by memory issues when loading 3d assets, usually the clothes) so I need all the help I can get with beta-testing v2.2 in order to make sure this issue is resolved across all your systems. I will post the public beta versions for 2.2 on here also, but my preferred channel to communicate with beta testers is via Discord.

left click > swap roles

Rexaureus: right click anywhere > Contacts > Add Relative > you can change the relationship type by clicking on the new person's "Brother / Sister" text. You can edit their appearance and stats there as well.
