Updated to 3.6 on Saturday night, and I've started getting pregnancy related notifications about energy levels and sex drive due to being pregnant. Thing is, my PC is male (100%), so I shouldn't be getting these notifications. I've also had similar instances of the game classing my PC as the opposite gender in other scenes (not limited to 3rd party module scenes either, happens in base game module scenes as well), which I first noticed in 3.3. But the 3.6 update has made this even more apparent, and is kind of hard to ignore now, seeing as I'm getting the pregnancy related notifications multiple times per in-game day.
Another bug that's plagued my game since the 3.2 update involves the companion pregnacy health check scene. It no longer plays out as it should, as the transition to the hosptal results in the game thinking the check up is for my male PC instead of the pregnant female companion.
And an NPC's submissiveness being used as the sole gatekeeper on condom use in sex scenes is highly annoying.

Do you guys know if they will always use condoms? If its NPC sex seems they are always using condoms, it doesn't even matter their perversion level. If thats the case then truly its really weird, considering the update also focus on NPCs getting pregnant, but it doesn't seem they can even get pregnant in the first place now lol. And I'm not trying to play down the developer efforts, it was probably something they overlooked when doing this new update, but I feel like asking because maybe I'm just missing something, who knows.
So my biggest problem with this game is that the maps are confusing as hell. While it's probably just me being dumb and not knowing some of the game mechanics, does anyone know of a map that has everything, but is easier to navigate (find things, travel, etc.)?
You have to Randomize Unknown. Use a small map like Central Bath you won't get everything even with the randomizing but a lot of the places have duplicate actions so it's not like you'll be missing anything important.
You can also adjust the Map Icons to make them bigger I don't make them bigger than 36 they tend to get too big after that.
I actually like the idea of SOME npcs requesting condoms. It makes the game more believable. Also while yea guys want to feel it but we dont just think with our dick right? There should be some natural aversion towards STDs and the unwanted preggo risk when it comes to a balanced male character.

In real life, I've ALWAYS used condoms unless my girlfriend has shown she was on the pill... and even then generally after I'd shown I was clean with an STD panel from my general practitioner, and she similar. [Am I somehow too upper class on some weird, lower income level, way?]
I mean... is that really that strange?
For me from a real life perspective (not a porn perspective, which admittedly is weird in some places) the, eh, not that abnormal.
For fantasy, I kinda get it though.

I mean, the way I see if people really used condoms that much then we'd probably have way less SDTs going around, in some places HIV is almost epidemic, teen pregnancy, and other examples as well. And I didn't mean strange in that way, I meant it was strange because NPC-NPC better impregnation was one of the highlights of the updates, but as I said unless I'm missing something its pretty hard to get a scene where this could happen.

I don't want to suggest I'm the norm, and where I live now VERY much suggests that I probably am not, but hey, that's just me (and maybe the rest of my class at my particular high school... admittedly, fellow students were totally willing to buy condoms from me, who bought them by the score, because they were insecure to go to the local pharmacy).
The ironic thing is that I VERY much want to be a dad in real life, but don't want to be tied down to a very imperfect "wife" or baby-mama sort.
Now I'm kinda much older and kinda wish I'd taken a few risks when younger to have children I was willing to raise instead of the mom.
Oh well.
Still, certain neighborhoods a condom request, not at all unusual. So to me, that's kinda basic responsibilty that I took even before now in-game.
Still, I do hope next version has some tweaks, 'cause in game (even if not in life) I want there to be more risky sex.
Though to be fair, I've not yet had the "I'll pull out" rejected.
Vinfamy I've noticed a bug in 3.6 when I try to have my char Propose a Relationship to his Step Sister (or any other relative) the game would either assign a random NPC or a non-existent NPC to be the girlfriend/boyfriend and it would almost always go against my chars sexual orientation as well.
The bug seems to go back as far as version 3.3 maybe even farther don't know don't have any versions other than 2.19 and it works fine with 2.19

It seems to be random. I wasn't having the "I'll pull out" rejected either even with NPC's that going by their stats they should have rejected it. But now I'm starting to see the rejection happen most of the time even with NPC's who never rejected before and going by their stats shouldn't reject it. It seems that once one starts doing it they all eventually start to reject it.

1. if intelligence is 35 or less NPC is to dumb to think about using a condom, and they don't know how to use it right (more likely to break)
2. if intelligence is 65 or less and player charisma greater by 15 point they are more likely to believe you if you "promise to pull out".
3. If drunk more likely to not think about it using condom.
4. "just the tip (tease)" then "force deeper"
5. If female fertility and [arousel] is greater than 90 (they want to make babies with you).

Some of these are good, but what would probably help and i'm sure vinfamy will get around to it is to make that stuff public for people to build a mod around enabling/disabling/modifying the criteria themselves.
I did look but couldn't find it, not because i personally was unhappy but because it seemed a vocal minority was.

Is it intentional that running the game at really high speed doesn't give you events? maybe I'm wrong but I wanted to start over and kinda play it out, but still fast forward it to the point I was at last time, and when running at 25,000xRL it seems events don't pop almost ever compared to slower speeds.
Edit: side question, is there a way to gain attractiveness faster? I know of working out, the hair/skins treatments. mostly asking because it seems every other stat can be raised way, way faster.

After reading the last few pages (and somewhat all the game discussion) I have a feeling there's a misunderstanding between the author and some of the most 'vocal' players. From what I've read the players play it 'the porn way' (like typical porn games), while the game leans to more 'realistic' way of life. Everything, from the clothes to the sex poses tends to look more ordinary than porn. With this in mind, the current condom mechanic blends in quite well. But as not everyone plays the game as 'lifesim with some spice', they can get upset. My suggestion is a flag in settings, call it something like 'porn play' or similar, which, if ticked, removes the restriction made for realism, so everyone's happy.
