Right now, well, since 4.X release, 3rd party mods dependence went down the hill; only a few kept their "must-have" status, IMO.

but was it actually anything good?
To some extent, yes. The more you play the game the more becomes noticeable how many scenes lack consequences/branching/options/continuity. He was trying to fix that.

As an example, the one I remember the most was if your girlfriend got knocked up by another guy because she cheated: Instead of merely saying "Annie X just announced on facebook she's preggers", you'll confront her about it.

Not defending the guy, I actually believe he is in the wrong to paywall his mods according to Life Play licence; but credit where credit is due, he was doing something of value on that one mod (Yep, the weed shop and the others are meh!).

That's good to know, yeah Life Play could've been much more with those, I think he means to release most of paid content for free soon? Not sure if that includes the remake. And I had no idea that Life Play had explicit rules about not making a buck out of their mods but in hindsight it makes sense if they do.

Edit:
Does anyone have ver 2.0 of the remake mod? Now I actually want to check it out.

Modding for this seems kinda dead but at least the dev is adding actual content to the game and not flower shops 5 different tongue types (I'm looking at you LT). Game is kinda broken but it has a certain charm to it and there is fun/fap to be had, porn games need context for sex happening on the screen or you might as well just stare at the pictures instead, I think Life Play at least provides that decently, at least better than some other life sim I won't even grace with mentioning the name of, even by accident :)
Totally agree, I didn't find any similar games like this one (outside of the paywall) that provide the same experience. Of course, UE has a lot more potential than that, the bugs and broken scripts are still a bit of an eyesore. Too bad it's not as popular as HS, bc we'd be have a decent modded repack, and I'm way too lazy to tinker with that.

Actually there is a game that comes closes and potentially could be better, but its such a pain to get to that point
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

I wouldn't exactly say lifeplay is just worst modded Skyrim though, there are def merits to the game. I hope lifeplay gets some more chain events that rely on choices beforehand. And stuff like someone jerked into the dildo and you then use it would've been way more interesting if there was an option of you not noticing it, unless there is and I'm being dumb.

I haven't seen any of the improvements claimed in the changelog. But if the dev had any pride in his releases from the beginning, he wouldn't need to make these promises now. These animations look as shoddy and apathetic as ever.

And for a moment there I thought you would say "The Sims 4", which admittedly for what LifePlay is, it comes closer. But yeah, modded Skyrim has the eye-candy models, physics and animations I would expect from the actual 3d porn game.

For those that have Skyrim SE, Aylis's guide at LoversLab is tested, sound, not so demanding and saves you a ton of headaches. You can build up from there. (Don't know if it is against the rules to link to LL, so just google "Skyrim SE for Beginners (3BBB / HDT-SMP / HPH) if you're interested"

I just think SL Survival and Wartimes on its own are worth it playing Skyrim LE instead, big problem with elder scrolls porn was often lack of idk something cohearent keeping it all together, outside of just straight up lineral quests there was nothing like that. Anyway I will shut up about skyrim now.

Problem with sims is no dialogue, so you are just watching animations, better have mediocre dialogue system like Lifeplay than none at all, wish it was more context sensitive, maybe one day. Wonder how doable that is with the current engine.

that is not it,it also happens at fast food ,uni`s ectra
Okay, I'm find the problem and the solution too.

The AI tries dress up the NPCs to fit the location where they work and lookup in the uniforms.txt file.
The trick is the locations are listed they common calls like fast_food, or bakery, etc.
When you take over a business they registered in game as fast_food:business, bakery:business, etc.
This is where the WHERE parameter doesn't match anymore to the AI lookup and AI dress the general clotches only like the shoes.

In the uniforms.txt file all clothing types separated with an empty line and consist four line.
Pick the fast food for the example:

fast_food
fast_food, ice_cream
Uniform-Waiting-Casual_1_F, Jiwoo-Leather-Sandals_1_F
Backyard-Bbq-T-Shirt_1, Kso-Jeans_1, Bbj-Sneakers_1

The first line is the dressing set callname ( Actor.dress(fast_food) )
The second line is the location type ( WHERE == fast_food ) or same as the first if it's not dedicated to location (like 'wedding')
The third line is the predefined clothing for females, and the fourth is for males.
Within the third and the fourth line can be define more sets for variety with semicolon ( ; )

The solution is adding the owned business type to the second line like this:

fast_food
fast_food, fast_food:business, ice_cream, ice_cream:business
Uniform-Waiting-Casual_1_F, Jiwoo-Leather-Sandals_1_F (; newfemaleclothhere1, newfemaleclothhere2, ...)
Backyard-Bbq-T-Shirt_1, Kso-Jeans_1, Bbj-Sneakers_1

Thats it, but I'm did this in the attached uniforms.txt file for all rentable location (only). If you want to use you should overwrite the old one with this.

Cheers!

postscript:
I went my day to figure out how can I dress someone with the .dress() command in scenes regardless of the location (because this isn't documented properly) :D
This way:
Actor.dress(clothforactorgender1, clothforactorgender2, ...clothforactorgenderX)
for example:
FemaleTestActor.dress(FG-TShirt_1_F, City-Limits-Jeans_1_F, Gym-Brat-Shoes_1_F)

Not only doctors or nurses use that dress set:
doctor, hospital, dentist, optician, veterinary, beauty, cosmestics, hairdresser, laundry, chemist, pharmacy
If you take one of the business above the AI still try dress your employee to according they work location I think.
So if you frustrated about it you should try remove that business what you owned from the second line list, or change the uniforms in the third and fourth. Other possibility is if some mod misconfigured, maybe something using the .setNoRedress() command carelessly, maybe location specific bug (like the hotel where sometimes every generated temporary npc pick my characters last name), or maybe caused by a sunflare or a lustful comet. :) I dunno.
But you're right it must be a bug. In game has two exact proffesion exist the Doctor and the Nurse what can be designate with command. Maybe the AI cannot distinguish the doctor from the optician or hairdresser and ignore it. Maybe that's why everyone dressed like the doctor/nurse. And I seen something similar to this. The AI rotates the npcs worklocations time to time, and some of my new colleague dressed up like a nurse too. I think they are worked as same of the list above before the AI assigned to my workplace.

hey also weared the doctor/nurses outfits at the community center, movie theather, bakery, even office and church,it somehow got duplicated to all the shops/buildings where they use uniforms....
