Unreal Engine Abandoned LifePlay [v2023.04 Stable] [Vinfamy]
Do you have version 4 of Dungeon. I am playing around modifying it but 3.5 has some problems.

Works the same as editting "age.lpstat" without setting aging to 0, any NPC below 18 will keep aging, no matter the value you enter when messing with "age.lpstat"; and stopping aging involves newborns will stay that way forever.
The mechanic that would allow selective aging is in the main code, and trust me, Vinfamy is not going to change that. -.-

Are you asking for a way of allowing certain NPCs to age but not others? If so then I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for a mod to accomplish that with the existing API.Mommysbuttslut

There's that one guy who was making an all in one overhaul of the game, but he coped out and now it's behind a paywall.
Also quit couple days ago, I just stumbled on this whole drama today, I don't mind pay mods, its his time, but was it actually anything good? His other mods focused so much on absolutely useless (obviously thats just my opinion, but who the fuck cares if there is a dedicated weed shop or some shit, like cmon) and not needed stuff that I wouldn't expect much from the remake. If someone has played it and it actually changes enough about games mechanic and or scenes that's cool I guess. Rest of his mods are all stinkers except for cheat mod and more interractions, cheat mod not for me but I get it if people don't wanna grind something.
Apparently he was upset about his mods being "redistributed" without his permission whatever that means, and used in other mods (that part I totally get). Which is why he went for patreon only content while also keeping some of the free stuff up to date every now and then. I really don't think it was that big of a deal for him to have done that, but it does look like he had different expectations and intentions maybe, which is fair, I think he just wanted to monetize it and was surprised by how few people are willing to pay for porn mods, at least for this game.
Modding for this seems kinda dead but at least the dev is adding actual content to the game and not flower shops 5 different tongue types (I'm looking at you LT). Game is kinda broken but it has a certain charm to it and there is fun/fap to be had, porn games need context for sex happening on the screen or you might as well just stare at the pictures instead, I think Life Play at least provides that decently, at least better than some other life sim I won't even grace with mentioning the name of, even by accident
If you use the mod manager most of the good mods are on there. You just click to add them.

If it's help you I made a lightweight select from my game's mods directory. This contain the official mod's scenes only and contain my fixes (what I found so far) within. Since I am not a 'bughunter' nor modder and I have not recorded what I have fixed or repaired. If you want to use I suggest overwriting your original old files with the modified newer ones only or manually select (or just compare) the ones that interests you. It's up to you. Again it's only contain fixes and repairs.
By the way I always update the \LifePlay\Content\Modules\ dir with older files overwrite. In this way it doesn't messed up with bugfixed files or custom ones.

To some extent, yes. The more you play the game the more becomes noticeable how many scenes lack consequences/branching/options/continuity. He was trying to fix that.
As an example, the one I remember the most was if your girlfriend got knocked up by another guy because she cheated: Instead of merely saying "Annie X just announced on facebook she's preggers", you'll confront her about it.
Not defending the guy, I actually believe he is in the wrong to paywall his mods according to Life Play licence; but credit where credit is due, he was doing something of value on that one mod (Yep, the weed shop and the others are meh!).
That's good to know, yeah Life Play could've been much more with those, I think he means to release most of paid content for free soon? Not sure if that includes the remake. And I had no idea that Life Play had explicit rules about not making a buck out of their mods but in hindsight it makes sense if they do.

Totally agree, I didn't find any similar games like this one (outside of the paywall) that provide the same experience. Of course, UE has a lot more potential than that, the bugs and broken scripts are still a bit of an eyesore. If you know Daz3D you could & maybe submit it to Vinfamy.
Actually there is a game that comes closes and potentially could be better, but its such a pain to get to that point

I wouldn't exactly say lifeplay is just worst modded Skyrim though, there are def merits to the game. I hope lifeplay gets some more chain events that rely on choices beforehand. And stuff like someone jerked into the dildo and you then use it would've been way more interesting if there was an option of you not noticing it, unless there is and I'm being dumb.
