I will look into it, thank you.

Thank you for your consideration. My PC is good enough to run things like heavily modded Skyrim, current PoE or Valheim. It struggles however with games that aren't exactly optimized.
I have tried to find the txt you're referring to, but sadly it doesn't seem to be in my LP installation folder. Could you maybe upload it here? Thanks in advance.

EDIT: To whom it may concern, I have stabilized the performance via the in-game settings (which sadly cannot be adjusted from the main menu) and forcing certain limits on FPS via the nvidia Control Center. It runs fine now, although I'd still be interested in that txt document the grifter mentioned.
This text file used to be included in version 4 of the game, but I couldn't find it in version 5. I've included a copy in this post, although it doesn't really go into too much depth, and you probably already know what it says. All the same, you can see for yourself.

**Edit** I forgot to say that playing in a smaller city like Bath helped tremendously. When I played in London I also used to have problems, and you don't really need a big city to enjoy the game.

Find a spare building ,and customize to the type you need .from pet shops to uni all are possible .
I always have to, unless using one already done, for strip clubs and whorehouses - those tend not to be on Google Maps where vin gets the data. Some don't have restaurants and at least 1 didn't even have houses. Same with beauty salons and even gyms.

Then you haven't played Frankfurt. There is a quarter with a bunch of (real existing) brothels near the railway station.

Yeah, Grifter was nice enough to PM me a copy, but I appreciate you uploading it nonetheless. It turned that I had already made the exact adjustments mentioned in the .txt when I last posted about having made it playable.

I'm also clearly too dumb to install more maps, so I'm stuck with Bath for now.
I'm using the flix mod manager and it feels like the folder structure isn't exactly right, leading to the game not reading the location where the new maps would be located.

Maybe this helps with your map issue...

Content of e.g. the New York map, NYC.zip:

Unzip here:

Don't forget that the files in zip's directory Static need to end up in the correct directory too:

You can randomize buildings when creating a new game (there's a checkbox on the city selection screen). It usually helps with that.
True, but then it's generic buildings, not hard to rename. Also, keep that number REALLY low (like less than 1%) or you get a shit ton of them.

Regarding maps... is there a way to add buildings? I downloaded Kitchener Waterloo, and there are buildings not present I could add to it, if I knew how.

Post or send me the photo you worked from, and I'll see if I can whip up a preset for you.

Ah, unfortunately, none of those are really good for making presets. What's needed are headshots, facing as straight forward as possible, with nothing blocking the face anywhere (eg. hair) and the mouth closed. Higher resolution is better.

I know a couple of them, so I'll look around for headshots to work from, but if you could tell me the names of the others, I'll see what I can find.
