I doubt any mods are capable of freezing the game as soon as they're loaded
I suspect that 'freeze' is just the map being loaded, which may take a while. Play the Central Bath map for quicker loadimh

i updated the game to 3.0 beta 3 from 2.12 and installed all the good mods, but now the game is VERY choppy with freezes at every 30 seconds if not more. every action takes some time to even start. cant play like this mates what do?

As far as i inspected during gameplay with this mods:

NickNo's Mod Installer - working (but outdated?)
Random NPC Breakups - working
Propose Sex To Companion - buggy (changing genders happen)
Pimp Your Girl - working
Beauty Expansion - working
Cover Tracks - working
Better Pregnancy - buggy (no pregnant womans appear, questionable fertility and pregnacy)
The New Goodbye - working
No More YouTube - working
NPC Relationship Manager - working
Dungeon Mod - working (still a bit of beta)
SugarDaddy++ - working
Set Relationship V3 - working
Party And Nightlife - working
Porn Empire - not working

(i'm not listing the presets, or what i no use now)

None of them breaking the game. The game start freezing about minutes, depend on your game settings and a map size and details (if you check the random building generation on a big map, it will be painfully long time to start/load) Start your new game in default setting (or lover it down),then later fine tune for yourself what u need.

It's a beta, only 3 out of 5 updates in the overhaul
performance optimization will come at the end of the overhaul.

None of them breaking the game. Thank you for that list. Does Additional Activities work? With that fan update to 3 of the files? I haven't been to this game since Dec lol. So would be nice to know.

just wait another month for v3.0 Stable, the overhaul is not supposed to break mods when it's finished. It's just not finished yet. It's temporary.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to have a way to control other characters ? Like take control of family members or spouse to decide what job they do or do other stuffs reserved to the opposite sex.
Maybe even having another kind of "TG Start" when instead of transforming, you swap with your spouse / children / parents and can later swap back when you want.

But if it ever happens, I guess it wouldn't be before a long time.

I like how now if the PC is married their spouse is at home with them to interact with now.

These changes are hype! Probably the thing I've been looking forward to the most is actually seeing npcs out and about and being able to interact with them and have an npc visit your house for a booty call lol (or someone else in your home getting a booty call ).

Dunno if it was mentioned, but characters I met previously will sometimes end up bald later. They still show their old hair in the contact portraits too.

Also a thing where people will end up with super pursed lips until I flirt with them or something similar.

Elfs seem unusually common too. I put elfs and vampires at 2% to appear (0.02) and it seems like half the people I meet are elfs. I've never noticed a vampire yet but long ears all around. Dunno if that's just weird luck or what. It seems way beyond that though. Half the people at my work are elfs. Triple checked to make sure it wasn't at 0.20.

Started a new game to test it and 3/4 of the characters in the first building I entered are elfs lol (I changed elfs, orcs, and vampires to be at 5% or 0.05 each, so this is silly.).

I had an NPC be completely changed. Gender wasn't but 1st name almost everything in appearance and stats were changed. For now when a character walks there's a bit of an image behind them for several steps.

Also had a character completely disappear from the game. Still, WAY more stable than last release.

Well for me it was removed from my computer, the fact of being with men when we had women at the beginning it becomes heavy. For information the body she takes is not random, it's the one of our main character, I think it should help to find the problem more easily.

Thanks for the reports, will definitely look into it for Beta 4. For now, save often (F5 for quicksave) to make sure you have something to turn back to if the game somehow changes one of your NPCs randomly.

actually now that AI is added and all NPCs have a physical location, this can be added in a single future update without much difficulty. Previously this was hard because NPCs didn't really exist in the world until a scene calls for their presence.

I often use cheat, hair color and change of sexual orientation or change of state or reappearance of my contacts due to bad action (I'm a naughty boy ).
