I've never had any luck getting Sims 3 to run well though. I tried it about a year ago on a machine that'll run most things maxed out at 1440p without issue and it still ran like garbage, even after doing all kinds of tweaks that would supposedly improve performance.

Every change in the hair sliders is not saved (except for the MC).
i've been waiting for this problem to be fixed EVERY DAMN UPDATE OVER THE LAST 2 YEARS!!
it's really annoying for me so if there's anything i can do about it PLEASE tell me..

never ever had a problem with that, if you use any mods including the lewdpatch, weight, sbpregnacy, newgoodbye, pimpyourgirl, pornempire or any of the rest its the mods cuz the bodies arent there nor the boobjobs or any of that , i run the Game, as it comes from mega with no a thing added to it but my saves other than clothing issue and that again is because scenes in the game still have the OLD clothes been truied to be woren and they no longer exist, this is a Work in progressany mod made before 3 19 is obsolete and will cause issues in the game and ther is a disclamer Stating that in the gamre as well, fukn love the group and work updates likje i said the ONLY issue ive seen is thge clothes not being worn and that AGAIN is because there aree scenes that have old clothes still tyxtd into them and going through Every fuykn scenre in this game an scrolling for them doent seem to be a favorite thing i want to send a couple of Days ive done like 10 to 20 and MAN i tell ya thats i LOT of fukn script scrollling that im glad i wont havce to do and i tip my hat to the one that will have to
That one won't cause that problem and neither would the others. It would take a mod that messes around with the Character Creation UI to cause the problem and none of those do that.
The other thing that can cause it is if they just used the update files but didn't let it overwrite what it needed to.

I don't have any issues with them, except the "none" (that's it, shaved head), which not only doesn't sticks, but also changes to random hair style.
Best thing to do, is to clean the old saves.
If you've been playing for so long, you might have some old save conflicting somehow.
Note:
there are TWO save folders.
One is on the Lifeplay folder (probably you've seen it), and contains the characters (Player and NPCs) data.
The other is hidden on
Local disk (C: )>Users>[your name or whatever]>Appdata>Local>Lifeplay>Saved
This one is the one you need to clean.
Personally, I'd wipe all saves here, but I guess you can keep the current one, and delete the others (though, most likely your current run is compromised)
You can start over, since NPCS are saved on the other folder (which you don't need to clean) you can rebuild everything without losing your favourite NPCs..
I did this, and usually don't have issues (despite using pretty much all the mods lol).
I get the opposite when I make a female char preset and use certain hairstyles the next time I try to load the preset for a new game their always bald.
I did that bro but unfortunately the problem is still there.. and about the mods i've only downloaded the popular ones that nobody complains about..
something is resetting the sliders everytime the npc spawns but idk what it is cuz i'm not an expert in modding
I had that trouble, without using mods. Loaded like 5 times in a row, and it does it about 50% of the time if I edit the Female body now. Once I get it the hair to load properly, I never edit the body again, and the hair stays.
Does the game not have sound? I've tried turning the volume up in and out of game, but nothing happens.
It does indeed have sound, including some obnoxious music that plays in the main menu
Could you please tell us more? Where should that line be located, how to modify that? I am having the same bug with duplicate invisible characters and it's quite annoying.
I also can't seem to find the option to initiate group sex (>3some) other than proposing that my girlfriend has this group sex without me. Even a poly swingers party is only pair on pair. But maybe that's due to some mods?
There's something wrong with my game. When an NPC gives birth to an aunt, uncle, niece or nephew, it adds them as siblings instead. Everything else is ok. I have already checked the NPC gives birth files for mistakes and they look ok. I also updated the game, and still have the same problem.
I literally have 0 idea about modding or console commands in LifePlay, so unless there's a tutorial I've missed that I can refer to, I won't be able to answer.

Unfortunately, I don't really know what to say.
I have zero issues editing characters, I've added tattoos, skins etc and change their skins, body and pretty much everything I want.
Note, I never touched presets, and don't care about saving them neither (same for clothes).
When I really like a NPC, I just outright copy the save file for that character.
That being said, maybe you could try editing the NPC save file directly, by manually changing the hairstyle or the like.
Huge respect to Vinfamy, i like this game already more than Sims 4 with mods.
I have a few newbie questions if you guys don't mind:
-Are sex preferences pretty static or can they be rised with sex fast enough for player + npcs? If i set my main character to 0-5 for every sex preference in the beginning, will she rise her stats or will they more or less stay the same because the increments are too slow?
Like for example sneaking skill you can rise fast enough with training with this +0,5 increase every 1-2 hour training while for some other skills the increments are only like +0.01 or less, so they are rather static.
-How can i find out if a mod is still useable or if it is outdated? Most mods hosted here are 1-2 years old and some have abandonded tag.
-Can i have as many businesses as i want?
-Can you make the brothel location bigger? I took one over as business and had to employ about 15 workers till analyse business said number of staff is enough, but the building is so small that it is pretty crowded there now.
-Raddeck seems to make interesting additions to the game, does anybody know if they will become available for free in a few months again or are they now permanently behind buymeacoffee?
