...You know, that actually makes a lot of sense. Or, well, at least it would, were it not for the fact that Maou-Sama, Neko-Hime's other currently active project, still has decent enough writing... Maybe what we are seeing in this game is equal to a "rough draft" and isn't intended to be more than a really crappy placeholder?

Maybe the other game has a paid writer or proofreader but they wanted to try and do this one on the 'cheap'.

Well... The game has some insanely bad writing overall, so I guess we can all just blame that. I still don't get it myself though... None of the dev's other games were this poorly written.

Actually, the MC said within his own head he realizes his family (especially his mom) like listening to him talk like that and notices things work in his favor that way so he knowingly keeps doing it to make them and himself happy. Plus he looks 12 because he most likely is 12, hence the need for the flower patch as well as the fact if this was on Patreon, it would get banned faster than i can count to 3.

Well... The game has some insanely bad writing overall, so I guess we can all just blame that. I still don't get it myself though... None of the dev's other games were this poorly written.

I dunno, I remember trying out Maou-Sama way back when and giving up after maybe an hour because the writing was pretty trash.

Granted I didn't make it anywhere near an hour in this game so I guess you could be right in the sense that this game is more poorly-written than the dev's other poorly-written games. But I don't think writing has ever really been his strong suit.

So that no one gets impatient, here is a little update on Chapter 4..

- Chapter 4 is finished writing and rendered, next step is the proofread.
- Sarah and Kay Event is finished writing and rendering, next step is the proofread.
- Alice and Janina Event is three-quarters finished written and rendered, I will finish the rest in the next few days and then the proofread will come.

I will release the first two events as soon as the proofread is done, then two more events will follow, and so on
This is the last update before "getting older" so it will be relatively big

In between, we'll be working on the next update for Once Upon a Time

But since I still have a real life and go to work every day, it takes time..
Of course, I'd like to work full-time on the updates again, but that requires me to be able to make a living from my hobby, and that's only possible if I get support..

The use of the word "impatient" implies that we were expecting something, and specifically sooner than is reasonable. The last update for this game was in July, last year. I don't think any of us are "expecting" anything here at this point.
