Sure does. Some scene's can take up the better part of a week to make (building sets, lighting them, posing characters, rendering, editing, writing and adding in visuals, rework and fixes). Some of them (like a complicated lewd scene) will take even more. There's devs out there that use more off the shelf stuff to create content faster, which is great if you can do that, but I think that doesn't work for LomL; it needs those custom touches that just take up a lot of time.

Plus, if a project doesn't have adequate funding, but requires quality, it also requires a lot of time. It's three-way tug-of-war...

I downloaded this recently and then kinda forgot about it. But I just played it through and the first comment I have is to say well done to the writer. This is clearly a lot more thought out than most games. Well done, and I'm looking forward to the next update.

Not to be pedantic, but it usually takes at least 3 months for each update since the dev release a whole chapter at the time.

ya..updates for this take quite awhile..he's doing his own unique stuff..not relying on standard assets like 90% of the games..high quality takes time..patience and understanding is the first tools a LoML fan requires

It needs to be said again, this game is amazing to the point where I wish it wasn't a porn game. The whole flashback between the oldest "ward" and the mom, I could see where it was going and before I audibly said "Oh no poor girl". Great emotional hooks and it feels like it progresses in a rather real way, I hope it will continue to explore their loss and grief even more. I hope we get more development of the wife and MCs relationship to get us even more invested in their relationship. I know a lot of people use Acting lessons when talking about great emotional games but I feel like Light of my life has surpassed it already, really good job.
