Cheers, they had me in the poll last year, and I made top three then. This year it was time for some fresh blood, it was meant as a stimulant for up and coming devs, which is something I love F95Zone for doing.(...) you'd have one of the front seats in the christmas poll earned.
(...) please don't be too mad at the modders. maybe you should have exchanged ideas beforehand then they might have handled the mod differently. this also applies to the modders swap with the devs beforehand, very special in this genre.

I'm not mad at the mod maker, they're fulfilling a demand from the community, and that's to be appreciated. I do think they did a very poor job of it, making the game worse instead of improving it.
I also feel that it's up to a mod maker to decide if they want to reach out to a dev or not. I can't step in and dictate how another creator should do their job, and I definitely don't want to take on the role of directing, as I've plenty enough to do myself.
If they had, I would have gladly supplied the necessary info, but I would have also demanded they invest time and effort into scripting it to take into account what is and is not a good choice given circumstances, and put some serious thought into if and why a choice would merit being a "Best Choice" before slapping some green on it.
As it stands, they seem to have put no more than a few hours of work in, if that, lazily splattering blobs of paint over much of the ~1K (!) hours of work I put into this update. That hurts.
