My remarks from yesterday were already deleted because of rule 2.7, I think. It must have been to lengthy of a complaint. But, if truth is length, oops! The game was going good then Oops, I think I will take more than a year to update. Sorry that life happened. Then maybe someone else can take over the game! That is one reason I do not contribute. I contribute for results, not gaslighting.

Developer has been very open since day one of development that it is a long time between updates but that they are full of content. The game is currently near 50 hours of gameplay if a player has the characters seek relationships with all eligible women.
The F95 mods are very clear about this in the first post of the thread:

The developer posts weekly progress charts on their official communication platform, discord. The latest was shared here just a few days ago by a fan https://f95zone.to/threads/light-of-my-life-ch-1-7-v1-0-1-naughty-road.29628/post-15602759 in the lower right corner you'll see that the developer has logged over 2900 hours working on the coming update over the last 17 months.
The developer has consistently put in over 2000, sometimes over 2500, hours per year working on this game. And this isnt even his job. He also works full time so he can pay the bills and provide for his family.
Chapter 7 update took more than 19 months.
Chapter 6 update took about a year.
Chapter 5 update took about 9 months or so.
The developer gives the game away to everyone for free - no contribution required, but subscriptions have been welcome. But those subscriptions give other perks having nothing to do with access to the game. And the dangling of a contribution as a carrot has never enticed the developer to do a player's bidding. If you have issues with waiting for updates, I recommend only playing games with the completed status on f95. There are nearly 10,000 of them and you could play a different one each day, never needing to play the same completed game twice for more than 25 years.

The funniest part is that that guy mentioned Summertime Saga as a good example of a game that takes too long between updates. That comment is also 2 years old btw

I have a question about a scene and I'm not sure if it's a fever dream or a real scene.
Since you can talk about your sexual (anal) preferences, there's a scene where the siblings have a bottle of lube where Marcy helps Dennise and sticks her finger up her butt, that's more of a dialog I can't get because my old save game is gone and I'm not sure what all I chose to get that, even with cheats I can't find it.

About 4 years too late.
You notice that the beta has been in testing for nearly a week and there have been no leaks to F95 during that time. Not even simply images.
That's because only a very small handful of vetted and trusted players are allowed to test the beta. That way NaughtyRoad address the bugfixes before the public release is made available by him for free.
NaughtyRoad is the solo developer - so if you believe he deserves a subscription, please feel free.

Maybe not, the poll to join when it closed said to send a patreon DM to Naughtyroad if someone wanted to join in late but that was around 4th of Dec, although the stable might be coming out soon depending on tomorrows weekly progress update.
Don't think this is the "Final" (game is done) update, what you might have confused with that is that the chapter 1-7 portion of the game (what is released now) is not gonna be updated to be single Chapter 1-8 game instead Chapter 8 is gonna be released has a separate game, because if i remember right the engine was struggling with all the stuff from chapter 1 to 7.
