Just some quick questions, am I good to go on this major update for the full experience or should I wait a bit for minor bugfix updates? How were the previous major releases regarding bugs and how long does it take for minor bugfix updates to come out?

It was beta tested for the past week by a select group of subscribers, they reported bugs they found and NaughtyRoad fixed them before he released the public version.

You could also read the changelog if you have questions about history of bugs and releases, etc.

Thank you for the quick reply! I did look through the changelog and saw that some major releases had some minor bugfix updates like Chapter 6 while others like Chapter 7 were ren'py version and android version updates hence why I troubled you guys with my questions.

Sweet, so now I can finally dive into this game that I've heard so much praise about aside from the occasional asinine comments about character models looking weird when it is clearly stated in the main page and shown in the previews.

Final question before I stop bothering you, do I need the walkthrough in order to avoid missing out on content or are there warnings in place within the game that do that? I know the walkthrough itself encourages players to go with their gut feeling and I've found by scrolling through the thread about the game allowing the player to disable the choices that lock out content for the two daughters but I wanted to know if there's such a system in place for the other characters as well.

I do apologise if this question seems obvious to the ones who played the game already but I am going into this game with a blank slate so I don't know much about the game itself aside from the surface level stuff. Thanks in advance.

v1.0.1 was just added 2 weeks ago or so.

And as said, you only need to have played v1.0.1 on Android for saves to carry over, if you played v1.0.0 on anything other than Android your saves will carry over.
I was reading complaints about importing saves from 1.0.1 to ch8 could be problematic, but I have my old completed save from 1.0.0 (it's stored on AppData/LocaLow, I don't have the 1.0.0v AVN anymore, only the save), but I want to play all over again, it's been years since I finished, anyway, I will start over the 1.0.1 if the save doesn't work, I use my old save.
By the way, my OSD is Windows.

The girls look weird yes, but honestly the story is just good, so its worth to play just for that. Would the game be better with every being model level hot, honestly idk, part of the games charm is that girls dont look hot. I guess in a weird way it feels more real? it makes the game different from all the others. Would I like if half of the games looked like this? Hell nah, the girls looks only work for this game.

Hello naughtyroad ,

Love the game so far. One pet peev however is the game opening in fullscreen mode, which on exit or changing to window mode fucks up my HDR in Windows 11 on my Nvidia Graphics card (every renpy game does this for me) meaning I have to cycle HDR from the windows display menu to get the screen displaying properly (not dark).

Any chance for Future versions that you make Windowed the default.

Thanks
Yup, someone reported that last night to me. I'll revert that and have it open windowed by default.

yup yup.
I feel like even with the walkthrough it's possible to miss out on a thing or 2.....
Hardly. Every choice that locks a character out says: "this will lock this character out" in small print on the button. You have to work to lock yourself out of stuff.
It's not worth it for min-maxing the relationship points either, there's more than enough to max those out by chapter 3 and since it's capped at 10 the rest just goes to waste.

blah, cant just pick the flags I want for season two, have to import or pick "default".
Oh my gosh, why didn't the lazy dev add a screen where I can scroll through and toggle about two thousand choices flags from chapters 1-7 manually, and code some more to ensure that whatever I pick stays internally consistent and doesn't land me in some undefined territory. I mean, surely no one is likely to come find him and complain loudly when their tinkering backfires spectacularly?
