Yeah it mentioned in the OP to create a folder called savedata in the main folder

As has been mentioned A DOZEN or so times in the thread already (AND IN THE OP!), you need to create a 'savedata' folder in your game's directory if you want to make saving work... Thread search option, pleeease, people!

As has been mentioned -more than once- in the thread, the one uploaded here is not the Steam version, unfortunately. So no bug-fixin' patch for this, sadly!
But fret not! It has also already been mentioned in the thread where to look for a Steam cracked version of the game, if you are so inclined...

I'm thinking someone(preferably the thread starter) should post some guidelines to common problems people keep asking questions about: Maybe a spoiler tagged walkthrough specifically. The desert worm can be beaten by first targeting luna and then blasting lightning. I believe you get the thunder skill after level 4 or 5.
edit: Oh I forgot you have to choose Quick Cast for a passive skill and put the thunder skill in the first slot by dragging and dropping it there. I think initially the MP skill is in slot 1

Well, the issue with any info being put into the first post is that something like half of the people posting in the thread never read it, seeing how many come asking questions answered in it (the save file issue for this game) or are readily found with the forum search function or google (mostly other games like opening the renpy console).
Can I ask, I tried to download the patch from DARKSIDERS as said in page 13 on the comments. How should I apply the patch after extracting the ds-lilitales.iso <-- ? Double clicking it lets me go to another DVD Drive (F

So:
1) Delete everything. Purge it all!!
2) Only have the DARKSiDERS version .iso. Which is a virtual image (copy) of the installation CD (? or whatever) of Lilitales. Lucky for you, you have something on your system which deals with .iso files and knows they are image files and if you double-click one, it creates a virtual drive for you (building upon the .iso), letting you in this case install Lilitales from the virtual drive. Indeed.
3) Install the game to ANYWHERE. Wherever you like; and do not forget the place... lol
4) You need to CRACK the game - see that DARKSiDERS directory on your virtual drive? (it's not on your screenshot!) The cracked Lilitales.exe is in it - you need to overwrite the one in the folder where you installed the game (the place you didn't forget, right?!) with this. This cracks the installed game, and you will be able to play.
5) Before you do, though, you should get the latest patch from Kaguragames (from

An installer? In this day and age? Why? Is this such a troubled game that we must actually install it, as in having it show up in the installed programs control panel, visible for all to see? I tried to overwrite the Lilitales.exe as you said, then applied the patch from kagura games, but it didn't work for me... The patch from kagura games wont let me...
What I did was to install the setup from the DARKSIDERS patch (which gave me another folder of Lilitales files, icon, application etc.), which its application (or the exe. file) requires something else to execute (which means can't). Experimenting, I copied the application from the one I downloaded page 1 here (the ver 1.02) and overwrote the exe. file in the folder I got from DARKSIDERS setup. It opens, but the title menu will have its gallery and password missing (as in blank). Afterwards, I tried applying the patch I got from kagura games (which will ask you where to apply the patch) and set it to be installed at the Lilitales folder I got from DARKSIDERS, which worked out in the end. haha

What I do with with these kinds, is that I just install, copy the contents of the game folder to another directory, run the uninstall (and scan for remains to delete in the registry and file system with my 3rd-party uninstaller) and commence using them from that other directory. Works like 90% of the time... xD
