Oh it definitely goes both ways, it's just that straight games lend themselves more towards flat out VNs or just CG collectors, while gay games lend themselves to incredibly in depth minute detail text based games.

Frankly, the gays have the better of the two choices in that regard lol
from personal expirence being in the gay furry sphere, the reason we seem to get a lot of the big text games is because a lot of us are in STEM or STEM related fields so we want our games to be more then just a simple wank novel.

I will admit atleast for me I usually avoid gay furry games which have the vn category. While I know that stuff like morenatsu can be good depending on preferences. A simple furry dating game can get boring fast once/if your brain learns to know what to expect.

Yeah the mechanical complexity of LT is what makes it immersive for me compared to for example a visual novel.

Would be great if someone could develop a game framework for LT-likes so people working in this space don't have to start from scratch every time. Do the underlying sex sim between entities and make it modular and extensible so people can add their own content, items, story scripting, UI or art assets etc.

What's the point though?
The point is new players will continue to see it being alive and I'm sure a hefty amount of them doesn't check the comment section before downloading the game, be amazed at the diversity and potentially fall victim to the vicious cycle we all in. With the Abandoned tag, people will be more inclined to check out the comment section first or just straight up skip checking the game out.

Considering it takes 6 months to tag the game as "Abandoned", I suppose Inno can pump out a single patch that adds extremely minor content that nobody cares about (Dalmatian subrace? Seriously? Is she gonna include every breeds on wikia too?) + some bugfixes (since when was the game NOT buggy? This is a gold mine to fill up changelog) twice a year and enjoy bathing in money as the game is still technically alive, and the initial impression on new players will surely draw in more unsuspecting victims.
You're assuming they can make two updates in a year.
It's 6 months without the dev going "hey, I'm alive, keep paypigging", it doesn't need to be an actual game update.

That's working for free for someone else to come, use the framework to make some junk and shove it on patreon to milk the paypiggies without you getting a dime. In an ideal world group projects like that would be feasible, but in reality those are few and far between.

This is under the assumption that Innoxia even knows F95 exists, and to that extent, gives a shit about people who visit sites like F95 (the vast majority of us DON'T pay for most stuff, that's why we're here). The odds of both of these things being true is very low.

Gotta love how even when you're stronger and better than a npc in every way yet they can still rape you.(It's extremely weird you cant overpower weaker npcs and fuck them)

DOL wont get any dominant content ever since the game is focused on submissive content, which is extremely dissapointing since the game would definitely be even more liked if it had dominant options.(Although it's still doing really good in terms of popularity and support even with only sub content)
There is some kiiinda dom content, most of just not in sex. Plus during sex itself you can kinda manipulate NPCs.

She knows F95 exists well enough, she even responded to a comment about it on her blog before the blog blackout years ago, but your second point is spot on.

She is well aware of this forum. And 4chan.
Both live in her head rent free as the places she can't convert into echo chambers.
A complaint she and her sycophants made many a time in her Discord.
That is why Discord exiles end up here.

IIRC she or her agents TRIED to get moderators involved at one point. It did not go as she planned.

Well one is always free to choose a license which restricts that sort of thing. Personally I'm partial to working in an open source space.

Just an idea for now though.

What's the point though? I don't see how the abandoned tag on F95 matters to her in any way since I doubt there's more than a few (maybe not even ONE) single payer for LT who frequents this thread (I doubt that many frequent the site either), given how much we (deservedly) bash her shit work ethic/exploitative emotional manipulation and her simping idiots who continue to pay her.
Inno definitely used to read the thread. More than once she put things in the blog directly referencing or addressing this thread. And she used to bitch about it a ton on discord.

And Inno, you're still a fucking coward. Turn comments back on you coward.

I mean if you look into it BDCC/Broken Dreams Correctional Center (linked earlier) is actually an open source godot project that you can fork and make your own game out of it. It already has a lot of systems in place that you could build on top of/tweak to make a lilith's throne inspired game. I have thought of doing it myself but once again time commitment, fulltime job, etc... but! An open source game with a lot of the bones built does exist!

The idea of suing someone for improper monetization of an open source porn game is hilarious though. "Your Honor, you'll note that the fuckable nipple code in exhibit B is directly derived from my own."
I'm certain as long as it isn't a one-to-one copy Inno legally won't be able to do anything. Just gotta give it a new story, adjust a few of the mechanics, replace a few terms here and there and boom! A unique enough property that courts would give the benefit of the doubt.

With code it's actually quite easy to get away with it. As long as you can prove you wrote it, even if it's a carbon copy of someone else's code, you're gucci.
Literally just do not copypaste and you're golden.

is there any kind of "installation guide" for ubuntu-based linux (and other distros) that is easy to understand for non-technical users? I tried to get the .jar file to run on linux mint with OpenJDK Java 11 Runtime but it didn't work.

if you tried something like `java -jar LT.jar` that wont work you will i think need to specify the nashorn runtime on the commandline,

what is the nashorn runtime and how do i specify it on the commandline?
Edit: I'm using linux mint and it comes with OpenJDK Java 11. I tried to just open it in Nemo by making it executable and then right clicking it and selecting Open With OpenJDK Java 11 Runtime
