Ah, it's been probably over half a year for me and here I am in your shoes.
I remember, a few years back I used to just lurk on her blog when it all started with comments trashing her work ethics (rightfully so) and her fanbase defending her, no matter how often she'd disappear.
Users got banned, then eventually comments got turned off, so I'd start to read them here and on other websites. But it has become boring after she closed off the blog for everybody without a blogspot account.
I think at this point I'm just baffled she's been pulling it off for over 8 years. That's actually crazy.
Still funny to see, no matter how niche your habits are, there's someone out there doing the same.

That CG of the Youko NPC has been in the files for ages. At this point I actually don't think it'll ever get used because the story will never move forward. Also it'll be walled off side-quest bullshit like Inno did with the Dragon transformations; lol sorry you can only advance this questline for two in-game days out of a month...

Doing my quarterly check-in, nothing new as expected. Does anyone wonder if/how many of the Inno White Knights are sock puppets? I'm not sure if it would make it better compared to actual people being like that, but it would be a different kind of horrible.

I think you're somehow still overestimating Inno's ability to get things done lol.

Yeah, she has a lot of issues to fix. Starting with chronic procrastination and/or setting deadlines she knows she won't keep.
Her "If I don't have the writing finished by this time next week, I'll just hide the unfinished content and put a preview release out" from the 1st of September has now turned to a full two months wait.
But that's what happens when you have stable income from supporters who not only enable, but actively encourage this behavior, as evidenced by the comments on SubscribeStar. Sometimes someone calls her out, but the majority of comments there are along the lines of "we don't care how long it takes, just give us one of your generic overused excuses once in a while".

Not sure what you mean by writers but no, pretty much anyone who is willing to collab for free / for the love of the game wants feedback in a timely manner and that requires game updates to release in a timely manner.

Technically, she could. But she does not want to share the cake with anyone. From what I hear and see, most would-be contributors have to wait for up to several years for their contribution to be even considered, and even then it's mostly minor fixes.

A while back there actually was an initiative on her discord (and not even from Inno herself) to get writing contributions, but even that outright stated even if your proposal gets pre-approved and you do all the work to get it implemented, it can take "two or more years" before it gets merged in, with no guarantee it ever will.

That's beyond Inno's usual excuses and stalling, into outright lying bullshit. It would be one thing if it was just a number without a tier count, but it's listing the exact number of people at each tier. It wouldn't do that if they cancelled their sub ages ago.

Doesn't matter, she'll add a santa hat onto a couple NPCs in December and her subs will lock in for another year.
