With what Patreon and the government takes, you'd end up making about 1800 bucks a month, so a full time salary, despite having 5k on Patreon tbh.
And yeah, development can be slow. Inno has burned out/been sick twice in less than a year and she's the sole developer for LT.
She now realizes how wonky some parts of her code are, thus the need to refactor it, it takes time.

For Patreon, it now depends on your type of account which are 5%, 8% and 12%

Point is : After all the taxes and buttfucking from the government, Inno doesn't get 5k in her pocket each month as many people would like to believe, and hiring someone is expensive.

And just to do that, Inno would have to create her own company with all the problems that go with ... A company that, once a few people stop donating, would go bankrupt.

Despite being disappointed by combat & slow updating pace, I still love the concept of the game, its flexibility, its choice of perks/kinks, though. Not enough to keep putting 15 bucks a month in the basket, however.

I hope he'll recover and find a new faith in his project, while funding isn't an issue.

I thought she was American. Really most of them to my memory. The only one I know for certain didn’t live in America or Canada was akabure and the rags plus qsp community who are mostly Russian and German.

The money and tax problem has been a huge issue with development for most of these people. That’s why night city production almost went crazy do to overwork. Plus for the top of the pac it’s why fenoxo stopped any-mention of incest content and is also the reason he dosnt own all the rights to the cherictors in his games (the reason why their are so meny unfinished cherictors) writes are exspensive. It’s a new industry that has just got its footing they don’t make money they make rent. If they made money they would be hiring porn stars

what I had suggested to her, although my comment was supposidly deleted "for causing drama", is to simply have fans with expertise help out, primarily with programing, so that she could focus on content. Unless she wishes to spend the next 30-60 years still developing this. For those whom believe me to be exaggerating, do the math for past 2 years against her ambition, which by the way, I whole heartdily agree and encourage so that it is done right and completely. I really hope I am able to resolve mine own issues soon so that I can just step in and help mine self. Oh well, point is, to have fans volunteer helping with difficulties and struggles to speed up and make progress in development.

The problem with that is you end up like Fen, who has about a thousand different things written out with no consistency, which quickly becomes a mess of garbage that no one wants to read. That and most of said writers end up being trash. When you only have one writer, everything has the same writing style, and nothing decides it wants to be a snowflake and ignore plot for reasons the writer has decided to make up.

Fan has a huge problem with rights. If you ever spent any time on his forums you understand just how muddy it gets. It’s so bad a mod has to be official or Sven will literally shut it down. Not fenoxo, svenen, you do not touch his work ever. You do not touch any work by any contributor if not given permission, that is the end of that conversation because fen dos not own the rights. In reality fenoxo would not give a shit who finishes what as long as it’s done well.

I'll be honest, no idea who that is, but I will tell you that I bet that if 8chan has ever fucked with that persons work before, they've probably already done it. I mean they've modded the shit out of CoC, so I pretty much doubt they actually care who owns what when they actually go out of their way to ignore whatever restrictions Fen put that you can't mod.

Which means they have a bit of my respect for having more balls for it.
