So on the upside, Inno has finally deigned to update to a version of Java that actually gets security updates...
On the downside, Inno has no idea how to do that.
And neither do her Pet Code Monkeys.

Heres to a functional .jar by Christmas!

"Balanced the flame value calculations for enchanted items, clothing and weapons. (PR#1695 by Maxis010)"

Please PLEASE tell me this didn't make enchanting fluids for quick-cash a useless strategy same way they just destroyed the Milk Machine in previous "update."

I thought you'd appreciate that little tidbit. XD

Try building it yourself using . It's set up to build against OpenJDK 11, but it should work through JDK 15 simply by changing the version number properties. If you want to use newer JDKs you'll also need to add the org.openjdk.nashorn Maven package and change the following lines in the UtilText class:

Java:
import jdk.nashorn.api.scripting.NashornScriptEngine;
import jdk.nashorn.api.scripting.NashornScriptEngineFactory;
…to this:

Java:
import org.openjdk.nashorn.api.scripting.NashornScriptEngine;
import org.openjdk.nashorn.api.scripting.NashornScriptEngineFactory;
I've been running LT like this for quite a while on both macOS and Linux with zero issues. Hell, judging by some of the comments here, it sounds like using a version of JavaFX that isn't maintained by Oracle actually yields better results. Go figure.
Well i thought i'd give the game a try again.
Sadly i couldn't get the game running on linux. I was able to compile it with maven, and package it, but i was getting a exception error related the lang class. It's not like i use java often, and last time i compiled a project was likely 5 years ago on windows OS.

I'm just going to mess around on my VM. If i decide i care enough, i'll debug my setup later.

Thanks for the pom

Y'all really complaining about the dev actually balancing their game for once? Milking was broken, most the systems were broken, lol. Hopefully combat is better since I lasted played (2 years ago), or is going to be improved soon too.

Yes we do. After six years of development it can be a VN. No one cares about combat at the point, if ever did, and money is only a blocker for tiny part of the game. It's a porn game about furries, not some starcraft. Dev is just dragging feet with this bullshit.

Dude its a porn game, what's wrong with some "power fantasy" by getting money fast? also that doesn't answer my question so anyone who plays can tell me if they nerfed the Liquid Potion cash strategy?

No one would be complaining if the dev was actually *balancing* the game. What they're doing currently is playing whack a mole on whatever method is the current popular one and trying to nerf it out of the game. It's a race to the bottom that's just going to either leave everything nerfed, or a couple "correct" ways to play that'll remain.

They're going about this in a way that competent devs avoid. First, because of previously mentioned race to the bottom, but more importantly, because its not actually balance. There's no respect being paid towards time/difficulty, game progression, or even interest. They're just taking the popular thing and nerfing it.

And beyond that, these systems don't need balancing through nerfs. They need to be scrapped and redesigned from the ground up. Because right now no progress exists in the game, and that's only going to get worse as main story content is added.

Is it still a "planned parenthood month" where every attacker uses a condom even if you specify for them to have a breeder and cumstud fetish?

Can't do mouse navigation or opening inventory/settings with mouse. Anything in the map area bottom left doesn't respond to mouse, only hotkeys(Except clicking on the date/time). Other things like combat still do, so not sure what happened there.

One thing that would probably be quite helpful are pheromone bottles. For each species there is a bottle that increases the likelihood of them spawning. It's pretty annoying when some of the encounters take ages to find (it took me over 40 minutes to find the panda subspecies). Honestly wouldn't mind if it got implemented as a reward from a small sidequest involving one of the shops.

You can change the spawning rates for each gender/species combination under Content Options - Furry Preferences.
