Pandp posted something on November 4 in his Patreon, but just talking about scenes, and until today no explanation of why the game takes so long to get an update, if it's really released in January, it's still another month waiting :noexpression:

Could be. iClone integrates very well with DAZ Studio and all Genesis figures. I haven't tried the Blender workflow, so it was just a personal recommendation.
I like blender because it's open source, though it can sometimes drive a person mad if not patient.

Before releasing the final version of 0.7 in September, my colleague, after finishing his part of the job, started making one of the scenes we'd agreed on. At this moment, 5 scenes are completed, two of which are still being worked on in terms of shaping the story and polishing up. Three main scenes, connected to Lily's life and her progress, are very big. Just for the record, let's compare the first Mrs. Clarkson scene from V.01 and the V0.8. Mrs. Clarkson scene. V.01 Mrs. Clarkson scene consisted less than 10 Cgs and it had a five-thousand-character long conversation. Now, V.08 Mrs. Clarkson scene consists of a bit fewer than 30 renders (that is without two animations of around 40 Cgs), and a conversation about 22000 characters long. The reason why I am telling you this is because I want you to understand how time-consuming scene creation is now. Besides that, I haven't mentioned more complicated coding, as well as all the conditional branches the number of which is rising. I often say that time is my biggest enemy which I am in a lifetime war with. That is the battle all of us have to fight to the very end, even though we already know who the winner is. But time doesn't always take from us, it also gives. Thanks to it, we've made a quite unique game, with the original scenes that we don't steal from others. We've started a complete animation evolution in the western hentai world, which is a part of almost every game now. Knowing we've lost our time on such a thing, we're sure every single minute was worth it. Now, due to the fact that time always wins me and my colleague, the other P and I have decided to split this update in half and call it V.0.75. We'll release the patch ASAP. Under this post you can find a link with the cgs from our new V.075 update. Thank you so much for supporting this game, guys!

Sincerely yours P n P

finally some CGs ( 2 of them were already in the game really :noexpression: ), Pandp still don't explain why the delay of more than 6 months to launch an update, the excuse that it is time consuming process explains nothing, because I know devs who make games with the same quality and alone and can launch one update every month, so this excuse doesn't convince me . At least they are trying to continue the game, I hope it's a good update

Even though "it takes time" for each update(which is a good thing) considering how well the game is made, at least its more than 10 mins game play per.
All this waiting, waiting and waiting, i'd still much rather have a full update. But it looks like its going to be another good one.

the two of my signature games for example (Deepsleep and Pandelo) they bring updates every month and with quality
Anna has great renders but world structure is somewhat amatourish and totally linear while My Sweet Neighbours is Renpy so it's much easier to produce. But I do agree it should be possible to develop something each month especially since dev consists of 2 guys at least. I suspect they're from a richer country and they develop it only as a form of a hobby.

Yeah, I suspected as much, seeing your signature. And I disagree.

Deepsleep's game has decent visuals, but they cannot compare with LotV on technical level.
- Many of AEA's characters are pretty much unchanged stock models. While I don't recognize even one of LotV's characters.
- All of PandP's animations are custom made. So far Deepsleep is using stock animations for his sex scenes. Here are 3 you'll be able to easily recognize: , , , you've probably seen them in many other games as well.
- The sexual scenarios in LotV are well written and rather unique, or if they follow a trope there is always a little personal flavor. Deepsleep's current content is extremely generic, on top of that he borrows heavily from the game in question here (the poker game with the bj bet, the character of the young chubby guy and his geek night invitation).

Haven't played that other game, but from the preview renders, any comparison with LotV is completely ungrounded.

Don't misunderstand me - at the end of the day, deciding if each developer's work is worth your money and time is a question of personal preferences. But you're comparing apples to oranges here.
There are some aspects of 3D rendering that you just cannot rush out. You either do them right, or you take a cheap shortcut.

To be honest, the only other game that I compare to LotV is My Girlfriend's Amnesia. From my point of view, which is that I don't understand anything about the technical aspect of making a game, I think it's a closer comparison to this one.
