I remember there was an issue with the paths in an earlier version. If you didn't take out the flyers at a specific time (progress) you were locked-out or from the painter content or skip most of the scenes.
Right now I'm not sure if you have meet Marcel already or your mood is just to low...
So after the disappointment of the last update I checked some scenes of the past and have to say I miss a lot of those story lines there (dinner job, bar job mostly, but there is no continuation of the gym as well). I miss those teasing times that often aren't present anymore in later stages of such games (it was present in 1.4 but 1.5 was all about fucking with very weak story backgrounds). I miss old "no makeup" Lily. And dialogues were better as well.

Just though of 4th option for Lily to get out...
Fred have made the see through mirror like a hatch so he can escape through by opening the mirror hatch get back to his back room and close the mirror hatch before Lily opens the door.
Nick first accuses Lily of cheating on him with Fred, then furiously searches the bathroom but he does not find Fred. When his search looses steam, Lily unleashes herself on poor Nick... End result is the same, Nick has to see the psychologist for entire 4 week therapy program - hypnosis and all. While he is attending these session Fred and Lilly are having fun
Afterward the program is complete, they have to go on vacation to patch things up - also with predictable outcome
Try doing paint job first and the do Mike cosplay... I vaguely remember something about that the sequence of events mattered.
I know that if you go to the painter at 50% stamina and then do Mike at 25% stamina it worked for me (day 15 Sunday).
Before that on day 15:
- start at Mrs Clarkson at 100% stamina.
- meet mike in the elevator at 75% stamina.
- go home and have a shower (with Fred).
- then go to the painter at 50% stamina.
- then mike cosplay at 25% stamina.

The continuation can be or very interesting thing or absolute bullshit. They can make a sloppy excuse to justify the father fucking Lily so they can stay together, or finally, a game that does something different and that she has been fucking everyone has consequences and the husband abandons her or something really strong. If they continue together it will be another game that sets limit situations so that in the end they will continue the same with any excuse. That they do not have to be bad for the game, they can give that option to the player and do something really different from other games
Anna exciting affection did something a bit similar and in the end, as if they had to continue together they had to make the husband alcoholic or half dumb, they decided to eliminate that scene. As said, no game dares to give consequences that allow breaking the couple

I can't see Lily admitting to herself that she wants to fuck Fred more than Nick, even if that's the case. So she'll probably apologise profusely and try to stay on the straight and narrow... and fail to do so. It seems likely that Fred would be kicked out.. He could go live with his friend the neighbor.
We have the whole Castor arc of debauchery ahead of us still. The boss and his wife almost haven't been involved and the business partner thing is still in its early stages as well.
I think if the home life branches too much out the story would get too complex for the dev to work on. Many branches = less work on each branch. Take BeingADik as an example of a dev that's tying off branches to make it manageable.

So I looked at this again and they have changed something (bug fixes) that prohibits you from doing the painter on this day 15. Looks like you can do Mike cosplay, shower/fred, rent and watch porn movie, but you cannot do painter. need to postponed painter to another day.
So P and P did some bug fixes and walk through needs to be updated to reflect that - tbd.
as much as i like this game the latest update with the strip thing and the other stuff i wont spoil just yet in case there are people are actually looking for whats happening next XD
but i feel like there is a problem in the way these two people act when they either suspect or react to something going on with the other person
now i dont know how it works for other people and it would fit if you play the game while trying to avoid cheating
but for players like me it feels a bit weird and wrong that when i make the girl act all slutty and take most of the routes that has her be with other people
than when her husband either does something cheaty or is suspected to do so that the player immediatly begins getting all pissy and angry despite all the shit you are able to make her do aswell
might just be me but i really wish there was some extra reactions where if you choose the majority of the slutty routes and choices that she doesent get as angry with her husband and vice versa or seems a bit more into it
because personally i would find it pretty double moral for someone to fuck around with other men and then get angry when her husband does it or is suspected of it
