have few questions from someone who hasn't been here for awhile, and view Ren'Py only anyway!
after some catching up on the last few pages, and reading through PG's last month public autobiography and Harvey's findings two months ago, i have few things to say!

i'm not sure anymore if it's stating the obvious but before reading comments about new law been introduced in the UK (trust me i know, here in Germany for years now even steam is censored in the name of protecting children)
anyway i was gonna say since he has Subscribestar why not release the unrated version there, and use different file hosting service than Mega, then tone it down for Patreon's pussies (i don't mean his patrons), or does patreon so far radicalized nowadays like twitch that they ban you for something against their TOS outside their platform!!???

but if PG literally can't publish the content he used to make by even uploading it to the internet from inside the UK then forget what i wrote above, our only hope left is for some "FAN" to make a patch and post it here moving forward or a future unrated Ren'Py steam release

is the problem with Paul's content the nature of it (blackmail, but that's impossible because there're so many AVNs on patreon with that sort of content) or his appearance (he's 18+ in-AVN and his character's model doesn't look underage to me if that's the case) ???

also is fictional rape content banned from patreon and mega in general or you can't create it from inside the UK and upload it to the internet anymore!!!????

Sigh... For the absolute last time. Posting or publishing the game or a patch with the banned content is NOT the issue. The issue is that in PG's home country the mere act of creating such content is illegal, It doesn't matter if he sells it, posts it or merely keeps it on his PC for his own personal use, it's the fact that he made it in the first place that can cause him legal difficulties. I'm really not sure why some people can't seem to grasp this extremely simple concept. An analogy, Cocaine is legal is some countries, doesn't mean you can make it in a country where it's illegal to ship it over there to sale now does it?

Frankly, I don't care much for the Paul route. What I'm wondering about is Sharon. Will Sharon change in the future of this game? Or will the Sharon and Lisa situation continue to remain as we know it? Did this forced remake affect Sharon?

Also, why would any game dev invent a story which requires him to remove content from his own game? You do understand, don't you, that he spent a long time and a lot of effort creating that content, and that removing the content seriously hurt the popularity of his game and reduced the amount of money he makes from it?

It looks like a reworking only. The new reworked game will probably blow out your old saves and you will have to start a new game. That is my understanding of the situation all beacuse of some censors and hateful Wokist creeps in the tyranny that is the UK now.

So the game took out much of the more "rape" related stuff? I cant exactly blame dev over this and I do admit that those paths never interested me in my playthroughs. However i do think that dev couldve cooked something legitimately interesting in the consequences/writing department in punishing the rapists with how brutal and horrifying it portrayed it. Still, understandable change tbh.

There are tons of games on Patreon, such as rape, murder, etc. They do not experience any problems.

Just like there's some VN/ comix and animation that contain incest. Just because Patreon hasn't striked the banhammer because they are so insignificantly small communities they don't show up on the radar means it's tolerated.

So having to remove the all blackmail and dark plot from the game, what left for Lisa, nothing, I feel sorry for PG he writes a compelling story to have it gutted by politics and censorship. The Rape/blackmail plots where dark. disturbing, horrendous had even trigger my gag reflex but I knew added to story. Most books in production now have these in them hell even movies. I don't get why we insist on gutting story's or movies for the sake of morality when all you have to do is step outside and see the same thing in color and real. PG keep fighting don't give a inch become the immovable object.

I pretty much played the whole game only because of its dark content. I mean honestly the whole point of playing a porn content for me is to indulge in something which in reality you can't and shouldn't do. If people want romance they should start a relationship honestly. To me this is just another boring shitshow now, I don't see why anybody who still wants to play this now wouldn't simply watch vanilla porn or play one of the billion other romance games on this side.

I do understand however that this cencorship exists, because apparently there will always be people who use this "material" to hype themselves up to try something like that in reality etc.
