maybe the reason why this tread becomes quiet lately cause lot of players want to see all the route first at jayce party before continuing with the next events renpy will not be released until it's over and some are playing with renpy i remember before notifications with this tread are unlimited now in one day just 2 or few post even none sometimes. hope next time dev will finish all rout first before moving to the next story line

To prevent disappointments for all the ones eager getting their hands on, that's what PaleGrass posted on SS:

Same deal as the Mod Shop scene from last patch, it'll be uploaded the second it's finished but at release on the 10th; that scene will cut short. I just couldn't get it all done in time. This patch has taken me like 1000 hours of work to put together; it's so stupidly big, with so many new bells n whistles attached to the game and I just ran outta time. I don't wanna postpone a launch even further so I've been testing for the past week now. "

i believe there is only 1 "big scene" in this patch — and worse, it is a lesbian scene. so best to skip it and wait for a proper update

There're +695 images in the pictures folder currently and it doesn't have a single image from the "big scene" yet. The patch is huge though I don't imagine it's f95's cup of tea quite frankly ^_^ (NOT YET ANYWAY, I THINK YOU GUYS WILL LOVE THE SHARON SCENE )

I think I say this every time I return to f95 but you shouldn't be stuck or left behind at Jayce's Party mate. Every route currently unfinished should be able to leave the party and continue playing the game, this was actioned like a year or more ago lol

If you can't leave Jayce's Party by selecting your desired route please let me know because if that's the case then that's an error on my part. I didn't want ANYONE stranded, that'd just be such a dick move. Leaving the party without seeing the scene won't upset or break the game in any way. The game will act as if you HAD seen that event and future events that reference it are all implemented correctly. You can then simply view it in the Recollection Room when it's uploaded later this year

Western Developers are known to be flighty. We've lost tons of them over the years and the reason for that is likely the incentive behind making games in the first place. I suspect that many think that it'd be easy income, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Making these games isn't just tossing a few CGs together and slapping some text over the top. You could do that, but you're not gonna get many fans that way. It's a mammoth task but one that some of us really love and as a dev, you better love it because it's gonna consume every waking second of your free time to achieve anything.
Very few adult games make good money, Lisa is not one of them, but still, I work, for a slave's wage on this game both because I love it and because I love my fans. I work a grunt's job 30 hours a week, the rest of the time I'm either sleeping or working on Lisa and this past month I've pretty much given up on sleep. I don't have a social life, I have no hobbies outside of making this game, I don't take days off, my annual leave is dedicated to extra Lisa time and I don't complain about it because it's my choice to do so. The only thing in my life that takes priority over Lisa, is my family but somehow this level of devotion to the project still isn't good enough.

Not every developer is trying to pull a fast one and play you for a fool mate. We're all on the same team here because we want the same thing. We want more adult games. We want more devoted devs. We want the scene to flourish and be bountiful because everyone wins that way. Attacking developers who are genuinely doing their best and working themselves half to death year after year isn't the way.

I see the Lisa signature you're wearing so you must think the game's alright (thanks for that btw! ♥). I know it's frustrating waiting for a release and I get that it's even more frustrating when the release isn't what you wanted but I'm not your enemy. If there were more hours in the day, I'd be working during those too but there's a limit to what I can do and I've been hitting that limit for a long time now x

I know I've likely just been baited here but I feel that the above is worth saying regardless.

I don't think I've ever released a small patch mate. You might not like the content and that's totally fair but there's never been a lack of it ^_^
Some patches take longer than others. If the patch is taking longer, it just means that the patch is bigger than the previous. There's no conspiracy behind dragging out releases, it's just a question of size (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID BABYYYYY)

If you subbed and hated the patch so far then I am genuinely sorry for that. That sucks. You can request a refund and Substar will likely grant it, if I could do it myself, I would. I may be able to action a refund if you subbed on Boosty but I'm not 100%.

But suggesting that the only thing offered in the patch was some "exploration" is so misleading that I can't believe that you're not trolling. There're just shy of 700CGs added to the game and the biggest scene isn't even in the pictures folder yet not to mention the new fully functional Exhibitionism stat system itself which took months to implement.
Maybe there are some devs out there that provide little content over a lot of time but your crosshair's in the wrong place taking aim at me mate and the proof of that is in the download links, provided for free, on the OP. Lisa's an enormous game already and I'm one dude. It didn't get to the size it is today by my releasing small patches or not working incredibly hard.

I haven't even finished the CGs for it yet mate, currently there are just under 200CGs in the scene but it'll likely be another 50-100 to finish it entirely. It's massive lol

No ETA on it mate but I won't be quiet about it when it's nearly done <3

Nice music, a lot of game changing name actally, Lisa is perfect for me, but if u want change, ok, but work on mood route for lisa, thank you for put a lot of work in this game =), u could free in steam already , i want play there, could u try put game in 1080p or 4k, its amazing art for just in 720p;

PG..my good man....you're like a living, breathing anomaly. Always friendly, always polite, always helpful, always there with an ear to listen. You explain everything like a walking Wikipedia. How the hell do you stay so polite with some of these people on the forum? Do you ever just run into the woods and scream your frustrations into the void? The issue with Steam is that I don't own the license for all of the game's music currently and if the copyright owners report that to Steam I could lose my ability to use Steam again in the future. So obviously I'm not gonna risk that ^_^
So I have quite a lot of music to replace but I love making music so that's fine, I guess

Man I have many regretful choices since starting Lisa but none do I regret as much as making the game's resolution 1280x720 lol. This was chosen because of hardware limitations back then but now I can render 4k very easily and I wish I had've waited and bumped it up to 1080 during Episode 1 when I bought the 30 series card. Upscaling the game to 1080 or higher would mean re-rendering something like 15,000 images and editing them all again which is just an insane task that I can't spare the time for. I also think that'd drive me completely insane too xD

If AI upscalers keep improving in quality that could be something to look into in future but for now they're not quite accurate enough and tend to give a very SMOOTH finish to images that I wouldn't be happy with. I'm very interested in the onset of all things AI and I'm trying to stay on top of it as much I can so if that possibility comes up, you bet I'll be trying it

I think almost everyone is generally a really nice person but being online changes how people act. It just has folks on edge, jumping down one another's throats all the time. I find that simply talking to people like they were in front of me is a better way to do things because almost everyone will respond in kind. Situation defused and maybe things are a little better than they were a few minutes ago and maybe you even find something productive in the ensuing dialogue (this happens to me ALL THE TIME)

Oh,so that's why the update was titled like that in subscribestar. I thought every update prior this also had a title,but I was wrong. Btw, this new title sounds cool,gives the VN more dramatic tone. Nothing wrong with short titles,but imo new one is a vast improvement

I wish I could say yes mate but there's a 0% chance of any Viv content in 2025
The next month will be finalizing 3.2 then the following months are dedicated to shipping Jayce's Party into the "completed" category. My dudes in camp DS: Cheat + DS: Cuck have been waiting for too long already. I gotta slam something amazing to reward their patience ^_^
