I'm not sure why you're quoting the OP (and thus, an F95 staff member, not the game developer). You really only need to indicate the error you're getting and ask if anyone has any idea how to fix it (I personally don't). If possible, providing more details would be helpful, such as:
- When did you get this error (i.e., what were the exact steps you take before it happens)?
- Are you loading an older save?
- If so, what was the last version before this latest that you played?
- Are you using any mods for the game?

Well, taking so long between updates, it's as inevitable as the sun rising/setting. It's unfortunate, but most of us have all seen it happen over and over again over the years...whatever the excuse a dev gives, you take a long time between updates, you'll lose momentum/subscribers. A dev can get away with it if there is something really spicy in the story, but this dev slow plays/downplays the spicy and gives abundance to safe story lines.
You would think that dev's by now would sort of know this as a rule of thumb, but for some reason we keep getting someone that thinks they can do what everyone before them failed to do...keep a slow burn story line with 4–6-month update schedule, then scratch their heads wondering why they are losing subscribers.
