most likely... but then again, I did the bulk of V0.1 (which was pretty much 90% of the game translated at the time, fully playable) in... a week? something like that. every version after that was done as new content came out (and each time I had to do that manually, and improved bits and bobs, fixed a few things etc as I went)

this 1.4 that Inusuku is releasing will probably take me a few days, but then I'm going to be doing some pretty hefty alterations, corrections and in some cases, complete re-dos of the translation... so maybe 2 weeks?

either way, everyone won't be waiting for too long, and I will be posting daily progress reports too.
(unless the game is delayed until august... in which case... you are all f**ked, I will be playing Armored Core 6 for a couple of months... I have missed AC... last good one was 4 Answer, V is an abomination that should have never been allowed to exist)
Did you ever play the ones on PSP?

Their stuff has been improving with each release:

Inusuku has definitely inspired a few other developers, lol.

I know there's someone making an outright clone of Imouto Monochrome too but I can't remember the name of it. (Edit: It's "Living in Viellci" by NC131.)

I mean, this is literally "Imouto Monochrome... but with a target shooting/marksmanship hobby".

(This one with double the imouto and hunting.)

A translation for one of eroflashclub's mini-games (by the good old, reliable Stigmata):

I'm no gun expert, but doesn't hunting with a hollow point ruin the shit out of the meat?

Well, given that they started discussing "imouto games" here, I think I want to share an interesting, but little-known author of which I once found in the open spaces of ci-en. There is no game yet, but so far I like where development progress is heading.

FMJ is great at going through things entirely, which might not cause a wound severe enough to kill the animal in a humane way (as humane as shooting animals can be lol). Hollow and soft points are better at transferring more energy to the target, thus causing more harm and as a result a faster kill.

But don't they like blow out the meat and produce lead shards or whatever that you have to fish out? I might be entirely mixing up ammo types.

If those old hunting games I used to play in arcades were anything to go by, the locations you're trying to shoot are shit for meat anyway.

But quick googling is saying it's a risk for eating game meat. Your children might have official guidelines saying no but too early for 2023 porn games.

A good hunter is aiming for the lungs-heart-liver area because they don't want to hit the stomach or intestines. 90% of hollow points just turn into a mushroom shape after impact. It dumps more energy, has the potential to stop the heart immediately from sheer shockwave, and if it passes through... it's as if the target was hit by a much larger round.

The ones that fragment are also technically hollow point, but they tend to be called "Self defense" instead of hollow point. They're also hella expensive. Standard 9mm is about 50$ for 100 rds, RIP self defense from G2 is 45$ for 20 rds.

So the answer is basically; whatever you have on hand or whatever is cheapest. Providing you're not shooting at the rear of a deer. Which you should never do. Also, hunters are rarely shy about missing lead fragments. Remember that many hunt with shotgun and something called buckshot. That's 8 or more big balls of lead at the target and since many wont end up inside or remaining inside a target, it's a guessing game if you got them all.

This makes me think of the first games that were referred to as "Dark Souls clones" until there were so many of them that it just outright became a new genre. Admittedly there are a fair few "living with little sister" games out there now.

We literally discussed this the previous page, the same day they updated it on the forum.
The only reason it even got updated on the forums is because I posted the changelog and download links... everyone else was happy to ignore said update for quite awhile (V0.2 was released back in Feb, the forum page was only updated on the 4th of May, most likely because of me), which is a shame, as copy/rip-off/clone or not, If the maker can at least take it in a interesting direction, well... why not?
