Kuja hasn’t really expanded outside the LOK sphere from what I can see. If you search the normal places you can find his work.

Did the launcher update?
I downloaded it one day after the supposed "public release", but it didn't seem to have the latest version, that version still seemed reserved for patrons at that point.

I don't fully understand, there was supposed to be an update (if we don't take into account the previous one that introduced new scenes) but the main thread hasn't been updated for a long time.
And as I see that the thread is now owned by a dev... does that mean that now nothing that isn´t made public will no longer be published or will it be deleted?
Don´t misunderstand me, on the one hand I understand that it is their job and that they want to protect it but... after all the controversy that has been going on for years and that now they´re finally starting to move and that now independent of If it was one thing or another they already have a stable source of income, I thought that this thread reaching that point would become something like it happens in others where since the devs have a good income the leaks of the newest content would be something more common, but if from the beginning the main thread isn´t updated... then that means that this thread will become one like "those"?

What did you expect? After some people couldn't get along with each other (good thing we all claim to be adults 24/7, lmao) the whole project was destined to become a farce. Now it exists and grows slowly.
It's just the ownership of the first post. Basically it's for edit reasons when they release public builds or need to change something. You don't get mod status that way.
It's the good old "we are done for but we are not adult enough to admit it" situation. For some people living a lie for years is less cumbersome than being honest. Feel free to wait for meaningful builds, I just watch this for the laughs.
Well, after some time downing my hate for this thread, the game, the devs and the mods (which, funny, was reignited by mods), i wanted to see the new update (Staning maybe you want to give the feedback further, your decision)
First things first, the Launcher still sucks. After downloading the new version, i couldnt start the game. The Play button worked, didnt start anything ---> seems it got buggy on extracting, dont know if problem is on my side or not (had the same problem with previous version). Had to delete that folder, download again, worked. Still a big critique: The old version remains on the hard drive. You have to delete that one manual, otherwise it wastes space. Sure, not much, but still stupid in my opinion. If thats intended, there should be a warning or something.
The new scenes look very good, high polished and, i have to admit, a bit better than 0.8. But to be fair, they are intended as scenes, while 0.8 did that kind only for its last one, which was meh.
Biggest issue is the rest of the progress. It was nice seeing the ship (again) and having a little chat with chieftain, but all in all? Dissappointing. The second scene for Vanlens punishment wasnt ready, which i hoped for. (Maybe it was a bug, but i had a freeze frame of Vanlen and Krystal from the start of talking on the left, and standing pictures in the middle while the dialogue implicated something "different".) There are still no more jobs available than working for Vanlen and picking up sticks (does this really count as job though?) Honestly, i expected more in terms of story progression or things i could do.

As i said, i dont know where the problem with the launcher is; could be my side (hardware, software, internet connection) and if i am the only one, than it has to be.
More important for me would be an automatic question if i want to keep previous versions of the game when installing a new one. At least for me its an issue because of limited hard drive

Yeah, the launcher issues are pretty common with people in the discord. So I hope that gets looked into and some sort of FAQ style response can be made to help people troubleshoot.
Right now you have to manually uninstall any unwanted builds.
It’s an interesting question to wrestle with. You want to protect your patrons and make sure you maintain the exclusivity they pay for. But you also want the build available to new peeps so they can discover the game along the way.
And it’s very clunky to point people towards a launcher and not have a direct download link available. (Especially when the only link available is from Februrary 2021 and is not representative of todays game state)
This makes sense now, sure you have to have both variants if one is patreon locked, i didnt think that far to be honest. After giving it some time to think, there are games where i normally keep the last version (mostly stable) and wait until i played through new content, or like Fashion Business, i keept the old extra until i get the new extra version, since the extra scenes are not longer in the gallery available when you pick up the normal version.
But given the fact a new version goes through different tiers and should be stable when it comes out for us peasants, i would appreciate a question like "want to keep older versions installed?" Its not that important though, im sure other peoples hard drive has more space than mine
Bringing out improvements to landscape, lighting, costume change and having companions, npc moving, what's new? the ship was already there, the waterfall? It was already, the tribe is simpler, the updates are lousy. Until now, the only thing that stands out are the CG ART that gave "K" more life and I take my hat off to him because he makes them, in the rest it is a copy of 0.8 with some improvements. The worst thing is that they need 3 or 4 updates to do what they did in an update in 0.8.
In better words, instead of growing with experience, they are only justified or compared to other games.

The bad thing about all this is that it has taken them years to understand that what people want from this game is the same thing they were already playing and that is, it seems at last, what they are doing now. The bad thing is the people who have more money than brains to have thrown it away these last few years. That's the way things are.
I think people have Rose Colored Glasses on for the previous version. It had delays between releases and I remember people being up and arms about it as well. It certainly was enjoyable, but grindy af too dragging the bot for hours to change the dialogue slightly for that 0.2 increase to corruption. I am exaggerating to make my point.
This post isn't meant to come across as in favor of the current version either as I've literally stopped caring about it, maybe in a couple of years when the next update drops I'll give it a try.
I don't know who is the one with the glasses, but if you compare the work of a novice architect, his first layered design will have details while his second design will correct those details because he will learn from his experience. He will end up doing bigger and more ambitious jobs. Get to see the points in favor and find, maybe you look at it with another perspective.
An example: you cannot compare a cell phone from a decade ago with a modern one (regardless of the duration). The latest generation cell phone is made to satisfy more customers and its development will be faster due to the improvements acquired over time.
