Looks like we have a month old Patreon post. (Posted on January 31,2022)
THIS WEEK'S UPDATE

We're working on big files that will require a bit more of time. In the meantime, here's the latest progress we have made:


ART

- Both Absolution Corridors have been converted (aka remade) to 1200px and the correct (new) background size
- Fixed CG ART: Kay Blo*job
- Created tongue and closed_eyes for the last CG ART: Kay Blo*job
- Kay 3/4f: New Forearm_L for the "Scratching_Head" animation
- Kay&Keakrix CG ART: New parts: Face_White, Eyelid_L, Eyelid_R, Eyelid_R_Part, Eyelid_L_Part
- Kay CG ART: Bed Mast*rbation
- Fixed CG ART: Kay Bed Mast*rbation:
- Added Inner thigh white part
- Separated all fingers from both hands
- Modified/Increased the vag*nal area/parts
- Added new fingers (uncut version)


ANIMATION

- Prepped Kay's raised forearm, CGI_Kay_BJ and CGI_Kay_X_Keakrix_1 for import
- Imported Kay's raised forearm, CGI_Kay_BJ and CGI_Kay_X_Keakrix_1 to Spine
- 3 new animations added to Kay's side rig: - Movement/Wake_Up_Raise_Loop - Movement/Wake_Up_Raise - Emote/Scratching_Head
- Prepped and imported Bed Mast*rbation scene
- Added Skins, Bones, & Meshed images in CGI_Kay_BJ and CGI_Kay_X_Keakrix_1
- Added talking animations to CG01 and CG02
- Added sad and angry eyebrows, closed eyes to to CG01 and CG02
- Removed lizardgirls from all of K's directions in Spine and folders. (I've left the clothes for now until we decide what to do with them)
-Frontside rig: - Emotes/Scratching_Head (note: the elbow is broken and needs a replacement image)
CODING

- Added all expression options in 3/4F dialogue
- Made all dialogue characters in 3/4F view
- Reworked dialogue & scenes system for better maintainability and less bugs
- Made it where CGI scenes could now have dialogue
- Fixed the player's username reverting to Kay after their first reload


WRITING

- Completed terminal dialogue for Kay's personal terminal


OTHER

- SFX for the ship ambience
- Ambient SFX for Kay's room
- Ventilation fan SFX

That last animation where "K" touches his neck, don't you think the sizes of the bones don't match? I find that arm a bit weird.

Been about a year since I last checked in, read back through the last 10 pages or so to see where we're at so let's see if I got the gist of it.

Open world is gone in favor of a map with points of interest a la fallout 1 or 2, good news if true. Open worlds are very hard to get right and involve a huge amount of work unless you want to pull a ubisoft and just copy paste bandit camps and radio towers everywhere.

Sex scenes are now animated CGs instead of the character models bumping uglies. Not sure how I feel about that, I suppose it'll depend how the good the dialogue is. I'll mention a bit more about this later though.

Focus is shifting to starting on the ship again, Krystal has been completely replaced with pink wolf girl Kay but we'll be able to customise her (hopefully with some helpful preset options). Fine, no real problems with this. Obviously I'd prefer the character on the adverts but if it just means fucking with colour sliders at the start then whatever.

Still planning a game with a fairly even split between porn and game and a sfw toggle, RPG elements with light platforming and survival. Frankly I dislike the survival aspects like hunger especially with the removal of the open world, seems like it'll just mean buying food at every shop and eating when the indicator beeps at you, less survival more busywork but we'll see. My main issue with the sfw toggle is it pretty much says there's going to be a strong divide between porn and gameplay which is kind of the whole reason I'm playing a porn game, I want to two to be intertwined rather than just "here's the part where Kay decides to go hang out in a brothel". This sort of ties into my problem with the shift to CG animations over the character models, it's another seperation between the gameplay and the porn. I will say the CGs I've seen posted here are nice though.

Anything I've missed or does that about cover it?

Should be within a week or so. The first week of March was the target.

**Edit** It will not be a public release. It will be a patreon first release. The public version will always be one build behind the patrons moving forward.

hey, so it's been about 1 year and 1 month since this thread got an update. I have a question, if one might ask. Is there a more recent version than the "Alpha Sandbox"? Or is that the update that is supposed to come now in March? And since they are not public, but rather Patreon exclusive until the next version drops, is there any ETA when the public version is going to drop? Is it 1 month after Patreon, or just "whenever the next update hits" (which technically could be as far off as 6 months).

The most up to date build is only available on the launcher. Download the launcher here. it’s called Par 1.0.1 (or something to that affect) you can also download the launcher from the patreon description .

If you use the patreon page the listed “current public build” is the same year old build downloadable here. So TLDR the “current public build” is a lie
The most up to date build is only available in the launcher. It was released January 2nd, 2022. (Sorry I have trouble keeping up with the names. I’m not sure if the “alpha sandbox” is the Feb 2021 build or this one)

Should be within a week or so. The first week of March was the target.

From the infos i understand that it will be when the next (not the one looming over our heads) update comes out, the now to be released patreon version goes out public. Personally, i think your estimation over 6 months is highly optimistic given the history, but from what is said it should be around 1-2 month if i remember it right. If we take the first demo release and the last update, estimation would be going to nearly a year.

Kinda Sharun. New releases will happen every two months. It would take a “magical Christmas land” scenario for this project to put out a release in a month.

The public build will always be one release behind. So this upcoming release won’t be available for non-patrons until the first week of May(ish).

For what they showed at the beginning of the year:
-update patreon every 2 months
-Public update two months later.
-no update in F95zone only for "tribe launcher"
In better words, we will have to wait many months to see changes since they only make tweaks at the beginning and do not show a great advance neither in the patreon nor in the public.
So far they haven't been able to try that slice of cake that makes you want more.

A little bit of good news for you peeps. The Update released today. And the public should be seeing the build in two weeks. :]

Are they just posting updates through their launcher? The patreon hasn't been updated in almost a month now.

Yes is the short answer.

The longer answer is. They didn’t put a post out on the Patreon? I use SS and I got the notification when they went live. So that’s weird. You’d think it’d be the other way around.
**Edit** I just checked and it look like it took till early this morning to post the update on patreon. Sorry about that.
