Real life happens. At least the dev is in this thread keeping people updated on the situation, which is much more than the majority on this site. lol
And as an artist, I fully understand how that is. Life gets in the way, then burn out and loss of inspiration....
But, if "festival season" is referring to simply Summertime, then maybe we'll see an update by the end of the year.

No: the fact that I haven't released any updates doesn't mean I haven't been working on the game!
I've always said that I develop at my own pace. And that's one of the reasons why I don't monetize the game.
The update I'm preparing includes a lot of scenes, and adds variants to some of the game's features. It's taking a long time to prepare.
I'll publish when I judge that the update is worth re-launching.
I've never hidden the fact that I also have a IRL “real” job and a family life, and I won't sacrifice either for Lolita.
When Covid destroyed my job, I had more time. Now I have more work. So I have less free time...
Yes, the "festival season" I'm talking about is summer.
This is the period when I work the most (From June to early september).
Then, as I'm totally exhausted after this period, I take a week off.
The rest of the year my work is irregular. Sometimes I work like crazy, sometimes I don't work at all.
It's because of this irregular schedule that I can't estimate the time needed between each update. Especially as I sometimes lose time trying to find where I left off.

If you felt that I was criticizing you, I sincerely apologize; that's totally not how I meant it. But, even though I do trust you to be well-intended, you appear to have so much going on in your life that you're unlikely to ever get around to completing an update or next version.
I truly hope ofc that I'm wrong, since Lolita Gone Wild is among my favorite RPGM's. I recommended it on Discord for exhibition games lately, actually.
I would welcome it if you kept us updated every 1 or 2 months.
But hey, as annoying as it may be, it's flattering that people still show their affinities for Lolita after all his time, isn't it? You should consider that a warm, well-meant compliment, I suppose.

Well...closer... yes... in the sense that my summer festival period is over, and I'm back working on the game.
But it's only since a short time, so I haven't made so much progress since my last posts.

As I explained, my IRL work is irregular and time-consuming.
Some of my jobs have been planned for a long time, and I can organize myself... but other times I get a call to hire me the very next day.
As a result, I'm less efficient on LGW I'd like to, and it's very difficult for me to announce an update date.
My aim is to finish this update as quickly as possible, but I'm already devoting as much time as I can to it.

Unfortunately, I'm running into several problems in making pregnancy not an endgame.
- the software I use for the images doesn't allow me to make a convincing belly for a pregnancy. The few images I made for the end required a lot of retouching.
- I'd have to redo all the images in the game with Lolita and her big belly... which is far too much work for it to be feasible... Especially as you'd still like to be able to choose her outfits.
- If she were pregnant, many of the events wouldn't be feasible in the same way, and so many variations would have to be made that, in the end, it would be like creating another complete game within the game...
- if I included pregnancy in the game without making it an ending, the next request would be that she give birth... Which would mean creating yet another complete game within the game for Lolita to manage her life with her child....
I would love to see an update, not necesarrily with new content, but with at least the graphics retouched.
Not to accuse you of overthinking things, but perhaps that's why a common feature? of porn games is limiting outfit selection on visibly pregnant characters to maternity clothes, and just limiting the presence of children to a cradle in the room or at the hospital. Heck a few of them don't even do that much, just congrats on having a kid here's some money and we'll never speak of it again.

Another way to handle the work load for pregnancy renders is to limit were Lolita can go and who she can have sex with. That gloryhole thing could be out because the access point isn't pregnant woman friendly. There goes a good many images. The school gym only allows her to do certain things. The church won't let her get laid inside. The other gym doesn't let her play ball because of liability reasons. The guys on the bus won't ride while she is pregnant because they are afraid/feel guilty. Not a lot of men have a fetish for fucking pregnant women. If you want to add more renders later during the polishing phase that would be up to you.
An after birth idea is that the landlord can be the stay at home dad/babysitter. A crib appears in his room and once the child hits a certain age he starts sleeping on the couch. With each kid Lolita has, the rent goes up to account for child support. Or it could be the state that takes the child in but instead of the state paying for the baby, it charges child support. You can make pregnancy have consequences with out the game over. This gets controversial, but give Lolita an option to abort. Make it expensive. Also, give her the option to become infertile as well. I think the drug addict route should have further consequences also.
