And I found out what was wrong with my crash after monastery: For some reason I still can't figure out, changing the line to english messed with the cg call up, (even though the code part is written the same), for now I changed just that one line back to chinese and everything works, just tested it, quest finished. I'm sorry I messed up, I'll back off and let someone more qualified handle translating...

I am confused.. You are talking about line 847, correct? But you changed line 707 back to CHN as well. Will 707 also break the game you think? Plus you went back to 13_1, 13_3, 13_4, 13_5, 13_5. You think it was intended even though one 13_5 was skipped in game play?

If you are using decrypted version check that you have file /Graphics/Pictures/map_scroll.png
In your translation files make sure that you didn't replace [map_scroll] with anything like [map scroll]

I think me and blackchimaera both use the packed 0.4.4.1 release and [map_scroll] isn't touched by translation.
I consider this to be a bug. I mean we are supposed to have English at some point and this is the first time a translated cg call actually breaks the game to my knowledge. So, that is smthng EccmA417 needs to fix if he already didn't do so with 0.4.4.2 release.

Edit: I'll wait for 0.4.4.2 before I patch and fix stuff and update the merged translataion file and post.

How difficult would it be to make a mod for extra hotkeys? Or alternatively, add them with console.

No, you are not and that is not the point. You did a great job. The cg call line NEEDS a translation and if that breaks the game it is a bug. Plain and simple. And I also think the 13_1, 13_3, 13_4, 13_5, 13_5 scene numbering is a mistake from DEV. I've looked through a lot of other scenes and in various txt-files and I didn't find a single one with two different scenes having the same name like 13_5 had in CompCocona.txt.

Possible, but quite a bit of places to change. You can search for :S1 or :S2 or up to :S9 - those are key bindings for skills.
Hardest would be UI for them.
And I also think the 13_1, 13_3, 13_4, 13_5, 13_5 scene numbering is a mistake from DEV.
It is and will be fixed later, if that makes you relax.

Well, that just makes it even weirder... I'll see what 0.4.4.2 gives and perhaps I'll sort it out then.

Edit: I may have found the problem. Carriage Return, Line Feed vs Line Feed only formatting...
Edit: nah, wasn't that either.. I am out of ideas. I'll wait for 0.4.4.2 and see what is up.

I solved it.. :D It was the frickin colons! CHN ":" aint the same as western ":" And I didn't see it since I was comparing my old txt file with blackchimaeras new one which had everything changed. Observe line 707 in the screenshot.

So I fixed all those and now EVERYTHING works. Even the portraits now display properly which I can't remember they did before this fix. Shoutout and thanks to blackchimaera for fixing CompCocona.txt second half! Just, next time leave those pesky CHN ":" be :LOL:

And shoutout to Teravisor who has a magic computer which doesn't care about colons origin. AKA locale. Which perhaps work when set to CHN.

Updated and fixed and patched and colonized English translation in my signature.

Edit: A shoutout and thank you to EccmA417 for making such a horrific (great) and actually heart pounding quest. I have like never wanted to save someone so bad as I did Cocona.. : ) Hope this reaches you.

I'm on the rescue Cecily quest and even after i throw rocks on the mines/traps they're still active. What am I doing wrong?

Man I really want to like this game, but the creator seems to have that one problem a lot of survival game modders have where they can't tell the difference between "difficult" and "fucking obnoxious".

I looked through code and found that bug, and it should've crashed for me too so idk, magic. The thing is, if there's english : then it separates line into name and text and replaces all underscores _ in name with spaces. Also display is a bit different, name is in separate line so two versions of fix, idk which one is best. If you search through CHT translation files, english : was used literally 1 time.

Yea just figured out.
Only problem now is that 4.4.1 isn't recognizing my PS4 gamepad...
Gamepad code that detects it didn't change between 0.4.3.5 and 0.4.4.1. It uses XInput, and from personal experience game doesn't recognize it gamepad is idle during game start (although I tested it on virtual gamepad and it seemed to be XInput issue).

Anyone know how to get *out* of Fishtopia? I went there on Elise's mission where we got betrayed by the fishkind. I got out and rescued her, but now just aimlessly wandering around not seeing a way of getting off the island and back home.

As far as I can tell there's the Market with the Inn, guarded village, and the "waterway" in the upper right corner but no other locations in Fishtopia. I've gone to the inn and there doesn't seem to be anyone there who can help. The village just seems to be a bunch of houses in addition to the slave house (and I didn't come as a slave this time).

edit: never mind, I'm blind and didn't see the travel agent booth

Are you sure you're throwing on the correct field? The white indicators appear somewhat above the trap so you might be throwing 1 field too high. The traps should have a visible trigger animation when the rock hits.

how can i meet the Sea Witch ?
Go to the shrine to the east of Fishtopia town/market and do the block puzzle, a ladder should appear. She's somewhere to the north after descending the ladder, not sure whether you need to complete the puzzle in this room too as I did so beforehand during Elise's quest.

I went there on Elise's mission where we got betrayed by the fishkind. I got out and rescued her
*him, you should be aware of that by the time this quest becomes available.

If you mean the "bad end" one in the badlands the main entrance I know is pretty much straight north from Noer. You hit the fortress at the northern coast and head east from there past a guarded checkpoint (nothing stopping you from just walking through) and into the badlands. Getting into the den itself without being abducted is a bit of a challenge as the surrounding tiles drain a lot of stamina and are full of abomination enemies.
