Haha, that's where I am now. Lvl 19. Starting to get some skills but it's a long way to Lvl 70+ like my previous run.

Yeah, the grave keeper actually cares more for Lona than most in this game.

...in this game you don't want to lose a single battle, not a single one, even again a rat.
But I do want the protagonist to lose :)

Getting her knocked up with fish-baby triplets (yup, I counted) is exactly what I need to make that particular playthrough unique.

Now, it's not that I resort to cheats immediately; I escaped from that Orkling Tower using zero cheats. I can agree that it's tough, but possible.

What may be a little less possible though, is

When I say brutalise I mean punching the head, belly, and rear, which drastically slows down the player movement.
However, if the player chooses to just Sleep without trying to escape, they will be dragged/teleported out of the sleeping quarters, rendered immobile, and then since they are now beyond the confines of their quarters, it is counted that they tried to escape.
Cycle repeats, wounds never heal. Escape is unlikely.

Anyway, don't get me wrong, I like this game. It's great. Awesome. Sank many hours into it.
Just taking an opportunity to describe no-win situation I've encountered.

It's still pretty easy to escape, look out for the huge fish figure in the water, you don't even have to fight. Or if it's simply goes down the fighting route, , find your stuff in chest, you can chug 2 red potions to heal all wounds. Make a choke point with dozen of traps and or simply spank their ass from behind while they're busy fucking other sacrifices.
IMO, this is one of the easier defeat area.

Not without a lantern, though if you manage to trudge your way through the dark flooded corridor and retrieve it, there's still the time limit to contend with.
And factor in the movement speed when wounded...in any case I'm willing to believe others can do it better than me.

You should not hurry anyways, the whole alert bar lasts quite a while, without lantern you can still see one tile ahead of you, remember to use ALT + DirecKeys to take look ahead and you will be fine.
Take all your time searching for the chest, it's fine. After retrieving your stuffs, equip lantern, chug potions, set up traps (chest always spawn in 4 corners which is also perfect chokepoint) and kill them all.

P/S: I also want to add

Being suicidal and losing the game because of it does not translate into it being poory balanced, ok ? Normally, this would lead to a an actual Game Over and you have to reload the game afterward or return to main title screen.

I never said that the game was unbalanced because you get captured for being suicidal.
I said that the game created a no-win situation when the guards beat you up for escaping when the player actually tries to Sleep and recover, resulting in a very badly wounded player.
But as you said, it is possible for players to win it, though I did not invest much points into traps. Mostly a wisdom build with heavy reliance on Wall of Fire.

Now I'm not raring for a debate here, you're giving pointers I can appreciate that. Thank you.
But I feel that that interpretation of my post is not an exact reflection of what I'm conveying.

Scoutcraft 6.
I had less trouble with the orkinds cave. Not sure why, maybe I like brown floors better. The fish temple was a lot of blue and I had trouble with it.

Someone just glanced at your posts and screams "game unbalanced" without reading first post:
Overview:
Cold... Grim... Unforgiving... Deadly... This is the world of LonaRPG.
Play the story of a young woman named Lona, who must survive in this gothic and cruel world.
Explore a grimdark, twisted, and open world where one little mistake can cost Lona her life...
Can you help Lona survive? (And protect her smile?)

When one plays the game the way it's not intended to and screams it's unbalanced and that author need to cater and care about their feelings, you get the gist right ?
I don't mean anything bad, I just want to correct that train of thought. No one play a dark souls game or darkest dungeons or rogue lite games and actually want to lose right ?
This is first and foremost a grimdark survival rpg with sex rape scenes for the realism touch instead of a fully fleshed out porn game where sex feels good.

I said that the game created a no-win situation when the guards beat you up for escaping when the player actually tries to Sleep and recover, resulting in a very badly wounded player.
And so I corrected and provide some simple guidances as to why it's actually possible to escape even after defeat. Moreso, in all defeat areas, you almost always want to escape right away anyways since guards always abuse you and that will wear you down. (Aside from the mine, very casual slave experience)

Mostly a wisdom build with heavy reliance on Wall of Fire.

" Wall of Fire."
And you still want to lose knowing you're going to an island in the middle of the sea filled to the brim with aquatic creatures and water, alot of water? During a middle of an important quest ? I don't recomment playing this game one-handed, you will never survive, but you can always save/load for the optimal experience.

In case you don't know, Deepone are the most magic resilient enemy type in the game. Wall of fire is a mean to aid you in melee combat since it can help you stunlock enemy if you attack fast enough, the DoT is a bonus nevermind that, DoT is main damage dealer of Wall of Fire, but in water tile, it will never proc since, you know, water extinguishes fire. Also, Wall of fire < lantern fire since Dot status only applies once, at least it lasts longer. Well damn, Wall of fire DoT actually stacks multiple time now. I was wrong.

Elise precisely said he wants a guard,a fucking bodyguard, not a cheap slut who can't protect him and most importantly, herself.

P/S: i'm sorry for the rant, but I'm pretty tired of people complaining about gameplay when they just come and want a quick wank.
P/S 2: But do rejoice, even in Doom mode, if you're well prepared enough, you can reverse rape or get raped and escape defeat areas anywhere, anytime you want. But you don't want to do it first thing in the first 10 hours of the game. Priorities.

Okay, so you were not referring to me. But I hope it's understandable why I thought I was being referred to.

From what I've played, if you don't try to escape you get stacked groin injuries, but at least they don't punch you in the head, chest, and rear.
Haven't tried the mine experience though, I'll put that on my list.

" Wall of Fire."
And you still want to lose knowing you're going to an island in the middle of the sea filled to the brim with aquatic creatures and water, alot of water? During a middle of an important quest ?
Absolutely, I want to lose. I knew it from the moment I lay eyes on those fishfolk, that they were the most handsome humanoids in the game. I'm just not playing through the game again to get a different build which is my problem.

In case you don't know, Deepone are the most magic resilient enemy type in the game. Wall of fire is a mean to aid you in melee combat since it can help you stunlock enemy if you attack fast enough, the DoT is a bonus, but in water tile, it will never proc since, you know, water extinguishes fire. I hope I am forgiven for thinking that "between Water magic and Fire magic, I bet those fishmen would definitely fear fire more!"
But for the record, it's still pretty good against fishfolk, IF you can get them to stand on dry tiles.

P/S: i'm sorry for the rant, but I'm pretty tired of people complaining about gameplay when they just come and want a quick wank.
I'm sorry too if my statements came off as rude.

i meant your actual real life eyesight lol
Pretty good, actually.
But you'd probably want to recommend an optometrist.

Those injuries come from the grab attacks btw. Want me to teach you a skill to move super fast even when injured ?

Magic is great, but in some fight without proper melee fighting technique and HQ weapon you will never win unless save scumming, if your save is not a cheated one, go to Noer bar and try your magic attack on the Indiana Jone guy or Boss Mama and see how much damage they deal.
