Are there? I was under the distinct impression that Doom Mode was a carbon copy of Hell Mode only with saving restrictions. I don't remember the game mentioning extra features. Is there a list of differences somewhere?

The last patch wipe was in 0.7.6, but saves back to 0.7.5.0 are still supported by the save patch. Update to 0.7.7.1, load and save your save, then update to the latest.
Here's an updated version of the Unblocked Traits mod.
Extract the
100_Unblocked_Traits.rb file from the archive and place it in the ModScripts folder. (Or in ModScripts/_Mods/Cheats Mod/othermods if also using Modular Cheats Mod, since the ModScripts folder is supposed to only be for official mods)This mod allows all traits to be obtained, provided the unlock requirements are met. (Player Level, Basic Traits Levels, Pre-requisite Traits)
Confirmed working, however, if having all personality traits is buggy I'll restore the blocks for those 3 only.

Hello, long time lurker here. I'm a little confused by the patching and updating process haha.
I see the front post has 0.7.8.4, and there are links to English patch and cheat mods, but I also have been seeing a lot of other custom mods in the thread. Which versions of the game and mods/patches should I be using if I want:
