I'll try choosing the options it has. I figured with content being added afterwards and it not being updated that it would no longer be valid.
Lots of games with walkthroughs that were no longer updated are like that because the dev changed things in the earlier parts of the game that made the walkthrough useless.
I have been careful to avoid that so far, which has been helped by how self-contained most of the new content I add these days is.
In general, though, you shouldn't need the walkthrough if you focus on finishing everything in your To-do list before starting the endgame (except Deep Sleep, which isn't in the game yet). If you still have things in this list when you start the endgame, odds are you're going to fail.
Also, you can lock yourself out of a good ending if you let Evelyn leave town or Primrose end up in jail, so avoid those two situations in particular.
