fraudulent pledges, most likely in the shape of stolen credit cards.
For some reason I find this to be funny, are these hackers or people stealing other IDS just to donate money? Or are these cards flagged as stolen and donators aren't aware of their information being used?

Since most of the fraudulent pledges were at the $20 level, I doubt it's the latter.

I suspect you'll hit the 2000 mark fairly soon regardless. Likely by mid-January, if it keeps rising at its current rate. Amazingly, you JUST passed the $1000 goal this time last month.

And yeah, I find it funny too. What kinda of criminal steals credit card information to....donate to someone on patreon? I don't even see how it could be a money-laundering thing.

On another note I REALLY like the Nell character, much more than I was expecting. Initially she seemed like one of those stupid/ultra submissive types that seem to be popular in Japanese erotica, but upon closer inspection I'm not sure who's playing who. I suspect the real reason Belle takes off whenever you go to talk to Nell is to maintain that mystery. She was a surprise, and I'm looking forward to seeing where things go.

I really like this game. One of the most promissing one I have ever seen. Good art, nice story. But rarer your characters have some "profondeur" and even rarer the gameplay itself is solid. The best one I have ever seen in an aldult game. Behind a generic name, the game is a true gem. Very pleasing experience thanks.

I still have a wish. There is still something that bother me, and from my point of view keep the game away from perfection. I wish we would have option to make the main character smarter. I can stand him beeing lazy (I can be like this irl^^) lacking courage or experience, but sometime the MC is a bit idiot and it really turn me off.^^

Here is a list of small details that bother me :
1) Before MC end remove inhibition spell, can make sure everyting seems normal ? Like make Primrose sit down. And more important, go back to staple with Nell ?
2) After MC bring back some boock ? Why nobody talk about it. I was expecting thanks from Primrose. Well given her personality and this special case, maybe she'll act like nothing ever happened, but MC should have an option to talk about it.
3) In library, I can read these books when working. But for some reasons I can't for the 3rd one.
4) Why not intoduce something like "General Culture" for random boock that go up to 100 ? "Catch up some slepp" is not a great option for ambiance when I pursue an important prophecy.
5) Testament of game quality, this is somthing I don't expected to write on this forum, but I would like to be able to use MC power on men in the future.^^ Just beeing able to speak to someone without him remembering, is a great asset in a world where secrets are important.
6) Maybe it's already planed but I would like to make MC talk with his sister about Neel told him about the Samara's probable reaction to the luxery of her tent.

I agree. It is especially noticeable with Nell. I think the MC should bring her back to the stables before ending the spell.
2) After MC bring back some boock ? Why nobody talk about it. I was expecting thanks from Primrose. Well given her personality and this special case, maybe she'll act like nothing ever happened, but MC should have an option to talk about it.
I somewhat disagree with this. I don't really think it's necessary.
3) In library, I can read these books when working. But for some reasons I can't for the 3rd one.
That's a bug. @Belle should change the general script from:
sidebelle blank "I'm serious. If you're going to cast Invade Mind on the Crone, you'd better be prepared for the fucking consequences."

sidebelle suspicious "Are you?"

p "I'm... not sure. I'll have to think about it."

p "I'm thinking I should learn some more about the circumstances surrounding the Princess first."

p "There's little I know about her and her family. Maybe I can find some more information at the library?"

$ book_status_6 = 1

$ book_status_6 = 1

Otherwise, the game thinks you have one less book than you actually do, and you can't read the last one in your possession while working at the library in the morning.
4) Why not intoduce something like "General Culture" for random boock that go up to 100 ? "Catch up some slepp" is not a great option for ambiance when I pursue an important prophecy.
I kind of agree. Instead of reinventing the wheel, we could just have a random book option like in the reading room in the afternoon. I do agree that sleeping is kind of a waste, and, personally, I'd like an option to abort and leave if I see that there isn't anything productive to do at that time.
5) Testament of game quality, this is somthing I don't expected to write on this forum, but I would like to be able to use MC power on men in the future.^^ Just beeing able to speak to someone without him remembering, is a great asset in a world where secrets are important.
I had the same thought. While I'm not interested in M/M content, the spell does seem like its utility would extend to men as well. They have secrets to be exploited as well, even if the way they're exploited is different.
6) Maybe it's already planed but I would like to make MC talk with his sister about Neel told him about the Samara's probable reaction to the luxery of her tent.
I had the exact same thought. The MC should warn his sister that Samarra views her as a suspect. On the other hand, I know that Samarra will be the focus of 0.05, so that may just be something that hasn't been added yet.
Whut? That sounds a bit absurd. 3 years max. Then a spin-off or sequel, I think.
I was referring to the number of digits Belle was using for version numbers. With 2 digits, that leaves room for 99 versions, i.e. 0.01-0.99. What I was trying to say was that unless Belle was planning on more than 100 versions, 2 digits should be plenty. 100 versions, assuming 1 release a month, would take 8 years and 4 months. If Belle does actually suspect a need for more versions, she could add another digit, e.g. 0.005. It would take over 83 years to go through that many with monthly releases. That's what I was trying to say. I guess I skipped a few steps in my explanation.

Anyway, since so many people seem to be having problems and since there have been multiple requests for a walkthrough, I went ahead and made one. A few notes about it. I tried to keep it efficient, but there might be a better path with less backtracking. It is intended for you to see everything hence it should show all images, but some texts are skipped. It is not intended to be optimal. I have you doing as much as you can while molesting girls at night, even though that will probably lead to consequences once that content is fully implemented. Choices marked with an asterisk don't matter in this version of the game, but some of those options likely will have different results in future versions. For now, pick whatever you prefer. If given a choice between a option that gives you something and one that gives you nothing, I chose the something, even if it might be detrimental some point in the future. It should give you all clues and all ability points currently available in the game. Finally, I have listed when you earn hidden points, but I did not list when you gain something that the game informs you about, just so players can see some of the mechanics at work. I hope it helps.

If it's any consolation, the MC does get somewhat smarter and more savvy as the story progresses.

1) Before MC end remove inhibition spell, can make sure everyting seems normal ? Like make Primrose sit down. And more important, go back to staple with Nell ?
I'm not sure I really see the point in doing this. Think of it as a transition period in the spell, as if they're drowsy and unable to focus properly. They definitely won't get suspicious from it, at any rate.

2) After MC bring back some boock ? Why nobody talk about it. I was expecting thanks from Primrose. Well given her personality and this special case, maybe she'll act like nothing ever happened, but MC should have an option to talk about it.
I might add a brief bit of dialogue about it. The primary reason I haven't done so yet is because the whole thing with the books was added towards the end of the development of that particular version of the game, leaving me little time to write small nuggets like that. I'll fill in the blanks in such parts of the game as we move further into development.

4) Why not intoduce something like "General Culture" for random boock that go up to 100 ? "Catch up some slepp" is not a great option for ambiance when I pursue an important prophecy.
I'm not going to do this because it will encourage a pointless grind. I'm more inclined to follow the other suggestion to abort the workday if there is nothing to do.

This will likely happen as the story progresses. There is no reason why the power shouldn't work on men as well, though I can guarantee that there won't be any male on male sexuality in this game. Being heterosexual myself, I don't think I could do that kind of thing justice anyway.

Belle probably should not watch Bright.
And I probably won't, but now you have me curious. Is there some kind of overlap between the story in that movie and in Long Live the Princess?

That's a bug. @Belle should change the general script from:
Nice catch! The fix will also require writing a patch for those loading old saves since your suggested fix won't be retroactive, but the basic idea is correct. I'll have this corrected for 0.5.

Anyway, since so many people seem to be having problems and since there have been multiple requests for a walkthrough, I went ahead and made one.
Excellent work writing that walkthrough. It's going to get outdated pretty quick, but at least it will stay relevant for almost a whole month. ;)

Okay, how's this? I altered it slightly from what I posted above. Be gentle: It's my first .pdf.

I did consider one thing regarding sleeping in the library. If it's going to be used some point in the future for something interesting, such as Primrose waking the player up with a blowjob or something once their relationship has progressed, then I'm all for keeping it. I'd rather have the option from the beginning than have it suspiciously appear at some unspecified point in the future. I'd still like a cancel option, though.

You mean I was actually right about something? I mean, only partially, but that still counts. I need to check The Book of Revelations; I think this may be a sign of the Apocalypse. Where's that bottle of champagne I've been saving? It's either the End Times or a reason to celebrate. Either way, I'm getting smashed.

I might keep it up to date . . . maybe. I'll think about it. I'm also considering sending you an unsolicited document full of "helpful" suggestions. While your game is extremely polished and I can only recall one misspelling, doing the walkthrough made me realize how inconsistently you stick to various styles. I'm tempted to play editor, but playing editor is boring and time consuming. So, I have a couple of things to consider, assuming the world doesn't end. :winkytongue:

By all means, feel free to "play" editor all you want. What I'm doing with this game is essentially to write the first draft of a novel and share it as I go, and as Ernest Hemingway once so eloquently said: “The first draft of anything is shit.” The characters shift and grow as I write, so things might not always be as consistent as they should be. Speaking from experience with other kinds of writing, I know that my characters tend to change a bit after I've written some dialogue for them and they have had a chance to tell me who they really are. All I can do is to offer suggestions, but the characters speak for themselves. It's kind of weird to have dialogue go directly from my fingers to the screen without having crossed my brain even once, but that's how writing feels sometimes.

Then again, going back to edit previously written parts of the game is also time-consuming.

It does not end well for the Pixie. It's worth a watch though. Critcs are bashing it, bit its at 80% among viewers on RT. It has fantasy elements and magic and... stuff.

The soundtrack is really good too.

It's great man, much better organized than 95% of fanmade walkthroughs
Thank you. I wasn't sure that was the best format for a game like this. While it works for a quick tour through the game's content, it will probably prove inadequate as more content is added and some of it starts to become mutually exclusive.

For a first draft, it's extremely polished. As I mentioned, misspellings are minimal, and while there are somethings I feel could use a different phrasing, I'm not really thinking about inconsistency in dialogue. An example of what I'm talking about is that you list most opportunities to raise abilities in red, but with the perversity books, it's white. Okay, let me ask a few questions. Do you prefer headline-style or sentence-style choices in the game (sentence style predominates, but I thought I'd check)? Do you have Microsoft Word? Are you able to search for text within your game files (I can, but I'm viewing them in Word)? If the answer to the last two is yes, I'll probably send you a Word document in two columns with the original text in one and my edits/suggestions in the other. My general philosophy will be to keep changes to a minimum and most look on enforcing consistency in style and usage. If that sounds like something that might be useful to you, I'll get started on it.

I appreciate it. Speaks very well of you and what we can expect in the game.
It doesn't seem to be a big limitation in most games. Watching the straight sex scenes in many games, I came to the conclusion that their authors have no idea what the act is like, they learned everything by watching porn movies :(

Yeah, everything tends to come off as very "porny" in most adult games. Sex in media should be a little clumsy and awkward to feel true, in my opinion. It's why the current scene with Samarra has her kneeling in a rather awkward position while she guides the MC inside her, then has to immediately support herself on his chest before things can get going for real. Don't get me wrong. I'm making porn here. It's just that there's room for more than mere clinical perfection.

Yep, slightly imperfect and real is just better, more memorable, adds personality and helps break the monotony of stock pose sex scenes that are often the bread and butter of games that use visuals from DAZ, i expect quite a few other people appreciate this as well.
