Completely agree that it never stops just with one demand, unless you stand strong for your artistic vision and integrity and in general your personal projects fundamental core people will endlessly and constantly push you in favor of their own agenda and interests, I saw it countless times before and in this case, a game with mature content which is why it piqued my interest in the first place came to its first real rough bump with the subject (and unlike the majority of people on this site think that mature means a kid with a huge cock sticks it to his "landlady" and "roommates") people not only freaked out but changed and demanded to remove the scene not even considering or care that it has a crucial plot element. People should really start to learn to mature and accept that the world is full of much, much worse things and the dev should really consider learning to ignore people's pleas that could potentially ruin his own work. Also agree on the tone shift in the comment section, instead of whining and demanding, why not just ignore the game if it's not to your liking and move on.
Although this post is not in response to one of my posts, I will reply since I seem to be the one championing the other view point. I think IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE, it not surprising that the developer made a change and got requests for further changes. Let's say I complain about a game because in the very first scene the main LI gets raped by three men. The developer decides to make a change because of all the complaints and now she gets raped by only two men. You know what, I'm not satisfied. I'm guessing (and I don't know for sure because I did not play the game as it was originally) that those that were upset were upset about the entire molestation of Jessy. Removing just the rape was never going to resolve the issue for all those that complained in the first place.

I hope that you are not taking issue with my tone, as I always try to be civil. There have been a couple of times when I have failed and I apologized for doing so. It's nice that every one (including you) is willing to give the developer advice on what he should do. My advice is decide what is important to you. If telling the story you want to tell is the most important thing, then stick with the story you have. If earning some money is more important, then change the content. No one here knows what makes any individual create one of these stories. For all we know this guy may be hoping to make some money to put into his little girl's college fund, or to pay for his wife's doctor's bills, or just to pay his rent. Is keeping the scene more important than any of that?

All the posts here should have generated some buzz about the game. I liked the game until JD started molesting Jessy. The art is good and the animation is good. The story wasn't bad. This game has a lot going for it. Now it's down to 15 patrons. I will say it again; if you like the content and want the developer to have the opportunity to ignore someone like me, then go support him financially. He not likely to abandon the game because people are making content suggestions, he's more likely to abandon it because he's not making enough money to make it worthwhile.

I completely understand and respect your decision to discontinue any involvement with this game and you can ignore the comment, I just thought to write in case of any further similar incidents in general, but everything you said comes down to watching a horror movie, liking the love subplot then complaining about the horror saying it's just too horrific and asking to remove it and leaving and doubling down on the love plot turning it into a romance movie completely ignoring that from the start it was horror. Also, rape is disgusting and disturbing and that's the whole point why it was used as such in the game's story, to make you feel both uncomfortable, filled with disgust and pissed off at the rapist, nevermind the fact that the victim, not only refused to give-in but also outplayed its predator and grew stronger as a character and closer to the mc. And the financial thing, the game set itself up as a mature game with dark tone right from the start, constantly shifting the tone will do no good to consistency and supporter interest if he feels he paid for something he did not in the first place and there are enough of people who are willing to pay for a more mature, dark adult vn since there are already plenty of pure love centric and porn ones, and a game with a much different tone is a nice contrast, also if the work is good people will always notice it and even consider to support, which is exactly why you instead of giving up on it in the first place decided to convince to change some aspects and tone of it.

v0.2.5
- Rewrite of Jessie's past
- Correct hard code error that shows mc's default last name in places where it is not intended to be
Does this update just rewrite jessie's past?
In what sense?
If, at the end of the previous version, she at the hotel had already told Mc about JD's abuse of her!
Does this update take the story forward or just rewrite this ending again?

This only changes the scene Jessie tells about the abuse to the mc in the hotel, the text is there but unlike the v0.2.1 the visuals have been cut.

Yes, I saw everything just like before, there was no continuity in the story, it was just to correct some good game things, the way is to wait for other update releases.

so I just finished running a "good" path run and I found some inconsistency in the text.

1. in the good path, when you go shopping with Angie and Jessie, you are given the option to go find them or wait for them. if you wait for them, the MC never sees anything going on with Angie and Jessie. but later on in the game he makes a comment about how he liked watching Angie and Jessie making out, which never happens in this timeline.
2. another instance of this is when you're sleeping and Jessie visits you and gives you some pleasure, you can choose to do nothing or force her to swallow. later on in the game when Jessie tells her story, the MC mentions how he feels guilty about what he did to her that night, but if you did nothing, you shouldn't have anything to feel guilty about since the MC didn't do anything at all.

those 2 points seem like they should have a totally different lines for the 2 different paths as it doesn't make any sense unless you're on the "bad path"

other than that, love the story, love the game. very good work.

edit: sorry I just realize there was an update and didnt notice it. my post was with a playthrough of v0.2.1

edit 2: nope seems like those 2 points are still in the game. there still mention of events that didnt happen if you go through the good route

No, it's about turning the molestation and in the original version the anal rape of a minor into a sex scene.

Frankly, arguing about morals on a pirated porn games site seems kinda pointless but everything can be sexual if you look at it in the angle you want, to me this scene was unappealing and I viewed it as such as I'm acquainted with real rape victims and familiar with its consequences on the victim, this is fiction so I'm not that hurt by it and perceive it as such. And considering the fact that I played so many games with rape in it on this site and it was done very clearly to me as sexual exploitation and nobody bothered to comment there, including molesting and raping women in their sleep seems kinda weird to put such negative focus on this game specifically, that made the scene that I personally found very close to a real-life depiction of the act in the way that it made me feel uncomfortable, angry and completely opposite of aroused.

He took it out though so for the people who had a problem with it (which I can see their side of it) there shouldn't be any more hindrance in game enjoyment. I'm looking forward to the next episode and writing the guide for it. Wanna see what the biker gang story will be like.

I do comment about such content when I run across it. This game has no rape tag or I would have avoided it. Apparently the scene was changed when it was pointed out to the developer that it looked like kiddie porn. When he looked at it again, he saw what other people were seeing. So you can disagree with me, but you are also disagreeing with the developer himself.

When this whole Coronavirus thing hit, I wondered how it would affect developers. Would everyone quit supporting to save money? It seems to me that the opposite has happened, that support has been better. It makes sense, so many people on lockdown with nothing to do. Probably a lot of new players, and probably current players playing more often. This game was really good until that scene, a game that I might have supported. Why do you think that a game of this quality has only 21 patrons while other games seem to be having a windfall? My guess is that content.

Personally I feel the dev changed his content to appease some people that couldn't handle some dark themed trauma, tho I do feel he wouldn't have had to change anything if he'd added an option to skip that little portion altogether from release. I'm feel that unless his patronage dropped its just a fairly new title? I mean there must be other games that have rape & still get plenty of support ?

It just feels weird & unfortunate to me that this is an amazing title with a lot less 'bad' things in it than many others but it seems to have gotten an unlucky start bc of one little scene that was even changed =(

I wish the dev all the best moving forward, they deserve it >;D

I see your point and I agree on the change in the scene even though the content before that did not offend me personally I can clearly see how it was unpleasant to others. But that is ultimately the creator's choice of what to do or not, including which direction to go and content to make and I don't agree to this forceful push on the devs in general. Recommend and say your piece of mind, and if the dev is not liking your ideas don't push them further and force him to cut up his own work as was suggested before in form of completely removing the plot scene even in the tweaked form.

Be respectful of others and their work, what offends you don't mean it deserves to be destroyed or undermined just because you don't like it or don't agree with it.
