As far as i know hacking and disorder not in the game, and however dancing and psychology is implemented there aren't any ways to gain xp on them currently. If there is any way to increase those to please let me know.
Psychology is rised by meditation only once by day at Park if you embraced healthy

Gina does the same thing. She has Sexual as both a positive topic and one of her needed topics to transition, but it still drops down so you have to level it again.

I guess for Diane you just use your Selfishness permanent topic. Vanity isn't a main level topic or whatever but rather a subtopic so you just have to be a little more careful is all.
she also have anal ban iirc so it`s about fine tuning characters

Not sure why you 'necro'd' a post from 18mos ago...

Currently, yes, there's Meditation in the park.
SWB is a source of Psychology (both in conversations and watching Horror movies at 0200)
Also, Researching Crime includes Psychology tag.

Gina with Brother Crusher AT drops those a lot in my inventory from topic interactions.

Do not really remember the source, it can be night fun with her as well...
Don't forget sex with Charlie, she drops them.
Fare source after Gina's changed over to Brother Lover AT.
Possibly the most varied animations event in this game, to date.

Have't seen any others outside of Diane but, that's just one scene on that event.
Seen no others so far but, i've not seen everything yet on this game.
Still sorting out grind methods that won't hide content behind different requirements and it's exhausting!

Took the latest patch as an opportunity to start a fresh game with no cheats. Random thoughts:
  1. The engine chugs. Not sure if it's just a Unity flaw but saves/loads and swapping topics just takes forever and conversations could be quicker considering how many of them you have to do.
  2. Leveling NPC skills still takes too long. I've got all the gray skills maxed and the target topics revealed and I'm still only getting about 6 points per conversation. That means 17 conversations to get to 100 per topic, per character at best.
  3. Focus regen is low. You get 1/3/6 for the sleep options, mobile gaming gives you 6, TV gives you 5, and dinner gives you 5 and early game those are all once per day. So that's 14 hours to get 26 focus. I was constantly running empty until I unlocked Video Games and three hours of Video Games gives 18 by itself. Three hours of gaming/day feels mandatory.
  4. There isn't a good flow. Conversations are the flagship mechanic of this game and in my head there's this brilliant game where you talk to Diane and she gives you a topic that works well with Richard and he gives you a topic that works well with Gina, who gives you something for Charlie, who gives you something for Becky, etc.
    1. Unfortunately, the game doesn't play like that due to the low focus availability, the lack of available topics, and the lack of intertwined topics. I talked about focus above. Until you get enough static topics you tend to run out of people's interests. Richard can give you Famous People which is great for Gina who can give you a Dirty Jokes / Sexual topic which is great for Charlie and the train stops there unfortunately. Everyone else only gives you people's neutral topics (except Gina who can also give you Famous People for herself).
    2. So you end up either just earning money for gifts or spending all your time doing solo activities instead of talking to people.
Anyway, just my latest two cents.

1) V8.00 has a memory leak. The bugfix in testing is an improvement, but it's still there. So you'll want to restart the game occasionally.
Also.. Unity is always a bit slow if you're used to Renpy. But Renpy can't really handle games with this sort of complexity.
2) Agreed that the game starts pretty slow. But 7 - 10 pts per tag is fairly common in the mid to late game.
3) Agreed that focus regen is tough at the start. It's why I always start with the Gamer profile. Starting with Video Games unlocked is a big help. And it gets downright easy once you get Video Games to Lvl2.
4) My experience differs from yours here.
Your chores get you topics for Diane who's topics are (IIrc) usually useful with either Dick or Gina. Have a snack or do some exercise, get topics for Becky, who gives you topics for Dick, who gives you topics for Becky (loop) or Gina.

But, no, you can't just rely on conversations for topics. For starters, you use 3 topics in a conversation and usually only get 1 in return. So you *have* to build up Topics elsewhere.
Which is where activities come in. Do chores, get topic (Diane). Have a snack, get topic (Becky). Watch a trivia video (I recommend this alot at the start of a game), get a topic (Dick). Watch some porn, get a topic (Charlie). Etc.
And each of these activities add to Nathan's XP, so you're continuing to build the whole time.

'The train', as you call it, is definitely there. It's just not on a loop. Sometimes you need to change trains to pick up the extra tags you need to continue the journey.

Most of the games are based on some sort of xp and on upgrading your MC and it's the same in this one, before beginning to have results you must complete the boring phase of upgrading your MC (here to get static topics).

For the beginning you have 2 choices :
- Be frustrated by the long phase needed to upgrade the MC
- Be frustrated by trying to see some big boobs as soon as possible and discover you can't

The curve is bad in the begining of the game, it's not beginner friendly. This could be partially solved by having the "beginner's luck" feature starting sooner than 50, even eventually at 1, it may accelerate the start of a new game without impacting too much the mid/end game.

Just to be specific... 'Beginner's Luck' happens as soon as the skill is unlocked, then until it's Lvl 1 (100xp)
And, yes, getting it to 50 is the most common way to unlock a skill.
But some skills unlock other skills. So you can get the Luck bonus from the start with some skills.

For example. Trivia unlocks Video Games, Charisma and Fitness.
So if you grind Trivia right at the start, you can almost immediately get the Luck bonus on those 3 skills. And it's damn helpful since those 3 skills are all important in the early game.

I know all that thx and it's how it works :)

The idea I defend between 2 facepalms is just that at start of game, to help beginners, and even every players, the "unlock" feature would be done sooner than 50, maybe at 25,10 or even as soon as you get ONE point in a skill.

The game, if finished and completed, will be large enough and with a lot of content, there is no need to have artificial features making the beginning so long

The objective of the game, at least I hope, is to choose how to manipulate the girls and to choose the AT corresponding to your taste, not spending days and days, and weeks and weeks, to up a skill.

About new save system - it's better in terms of file quantity (which is good), but saving takes more time now, so optimization is definitely needed.
Also, something is missing in save file, what are those cubes - supposed to be month?

I can workout there, but cannot work for some reason. Even though she said I can. I have no idea for now why not, which conditions are not met...
Not sure if anyone answered you this already, but to work in Gym you have to be there at 11:00, which means at 10:00 you take the bus to town and walk strait into the Gym. If you still can't work there then you are missing another prerequisite part which I can't remember at the top of my head.. but should be listed when hovering over the green Work icon.
Hope this helps?

I was digging in the assembly yesterday and there are WaitForSeconds calls all over the place. Scene transitions definitely can be sped up but I did find that some of those seem break the game somehow where for example I got to position where clock does not always advance of transitions are too short. Guessing the developer is putting in sleep statements to avoid other bugs and just makes the whole thing feel even more grindy than it needs to be. I don't need to wait 4 seconds for a transition most the time.

Couldn't find the sleep statements in the save code but I totally believe its in there. While I'm sure the serialization code probably isn't the best as its likely reflection based and seems to require making lots of copies of things.

Anyway, I'm sure its not Unity or rather is more a sloppy/novice developer who backed themselves into a corner.

How i start to make Jesse talk with me... she never talk to me when i go to the house
Go see Charlie at 17h when Jesse's home, have sex with her and make Charlie orgasm but don't cum, choose to go to the bathroom and you'll have a talk with Jesse which will lower her assertiveness. Can't remember if barging while she's masturbating (her room at 18) also works or not. But she need to be at -10 assertiveness for you to start speaking with her

You can also find her in the Park on Saturday nights / Sunday mornings at midnight (probably Friday/Saturday too?) and smoke with her for some skill gains and -1 assertiveness. Doesn't have any item or skill requirements IIRC as long as Jesse is unlocked.

Edit: Also if you go into her room at 6 p.m. you see her masturbating and she loses 2 assertiveness and gains some Dominance.

Thanks for the explanation. The only other Unity game I can remember playing is House Party and that one also loads very slowly so I just assumed all Unity games were like that.

Remembered another pet peeve is everything happening on Friday. Sally's parties, Richard being out of town, Jesse being out of the house, Lisa at the strip club, and 1/2 nights that Gina tends to come home drunk. Really no reason some of that couldn't be spread around.

Well its Friday night everyone with a social life tends to go out during this time. You are going to have to learn how to prioritize. Which girl do you want to bang the most? Also Friday is not the only day Lisa works at the stripclub.

To be a bit more specific:
The Jesse in the bathroom scene after sex with Charlie scene is available Mon-Thur, not Fri-Sun.
Jesse in the park is at 2300 on Sat and Sun.

It's partly Unity. It loads/saves slower then something like Renpy. Many of my favs are in Unity, so I learned to wait for a bit after pressing save so I don't corrupt my save files.

And it's partly a choice from the Dev. Hologram is right, there's a pause built in when you save. It's there as an insurance policy against players accidently corrupting their saves by taking new actions while the engine is still writing the save.

But he's right, Friday night is a significant bottleneck in the game.
And Saturday is also a big social night.
Would be nice if some of the stuff was spread a bit more evenly between the two nights.
Dunno if it's feasible without breaking a ton of code, but moving the party to Sat night might help a bit.
