I am trying to level Diane to Boozer Mother. She has full Relationship and Lust and 31 Assertiveness. I get her a drink at 18:00 before dinner, but she is still only 20% Intoxicated when I enter the Living Room at 22:00. She is up to 40% by the time I've cleared the dialogue, but I don't have the Archetype option.

IIrc, that's the one where you need to visit her each hour possible through the day.
Each hour you visit her, she drinks more (you don't have to converse, just enter the room she's in each hour)
By the end of the day, plus the drink at dinner, she should be past the needed intox.

It's also very easy to edit the intox value through save editing now, since the save is in a format you can edit in Thonny or a similar text editer.

I have playing v0.7.02 i only want to bring my saves from v7 to v8 and system i post an image from v8 not seeing the v7 saves on my system

Start playing normally and you can open it from the ingame load menu. It's just weird and won't let you do it from the main menu iirc.

I have a couple of problems with the game. The first the game gives an error when I go from one place to another. The second someone has a map of the at, because some of them are missing.

Is it my PC, or does the 8.02 version now have faint words/buttons on some of the backgrounds? For example, in the clean living room, on the couch I see LaissezFaire twice and then Nevermind.

Known issue. I've only seen it in living room and charlie's living room.
It's not a game breaker, so we'll have to get used to it until V9

If you look at left theres a save file with v8 format, at right you see the dieina.fire file from v7
You can see the format is not the same and i thought this can be a problem to load v7 saves on v8 game

V8 use another format to make the save file (see changelog where say "new save system")

Did you try what I said? Because I couldn't load my old saves from the main menu, but I can load them if I start a new game and then go load a save from there.

If you did and it still doesn't work, just use the mod and just cheat all your skills and stuff back up. You can also directly change pretty much every stat the girls have apart from Becky's followers.

V8 includes both the new and old save engines.
It was done this way to avoid save compatibility issues.

Put the old saves in the backup subfolder I pointed you to earlier.
Make sure saves 1 2 and 3 are empty in the Loser folder. (Or they'll over-ride saves 1 2 and 3 in the backup folder)
Open the game. Old saves should be in slots 1 2 and 3.
If they're not, try as Urruah suggested. Start a 'new game', then use the phone icon to try to load from save slots 1 2 or 3.

Go to the Bar on Mon or Tues night, buy Lisa a drink 3 consecutive times. (This means you've got to leave from your front yard at 2200 or you won't have time to buy 3 times.)

Then just download the mod and cheat. You can probably get all your progress back in like an hour.

Been a few months since I've played that content, so my memory is rusty.
That might be the one (or one of the ones) where you need to go to straight to bed and sleep after seeing her in the living room.
Or it's one where you need to go back to the living room the next hour (2300, iirc).

I'd suggest saving just before you visit her in the living room and try it both ways.

Sorry, you were too quick with your reply. Yes, I had previously been going back to my room for an hour to check if she was there at 23:00, but this time went straight to sleep and all good now.

Sorry, I feel like a lazy arse just asking for the answers all the time, but I can't think what else to try with Boozer Mother Diane to reduce her assertiveness. It's currently 43 and needs to be below 10. I have found a way to increase it, but nothing to reduce it. Any clues?

There are a few ways to do this, but it isn't straight forward.

The topic 'Yes sir' will lower her domination as it has a topic she likes included in it - order. You get this every few times when fapping to domination porn.

The topic 'objectification' also works as it includes the slutty topic which she likes. You can get this from two places.
1. When spanking Gina as she cleans the bathroom at 11am, you will need a transient topic in your hotbar to do with cleaning/house rules etc.
2. When you have sex with Charlie but don't finish, if you are on the last AT for Jesse you will get this topic when you go to the bathroom afterwards.

An alternative to these would be to embrace full dominance, give Diane 100% Dominance and temporarily give her the interest 'Malleable' (you can always swap it back later after you have lowered her dominance enough). With this in place you can use the topics 'beyond reproach' and 'in control' (which she will now like) as well the two topics above and bring her dominance down by 5 every conversation.

Summary: For conversations, look for any Topic that has Dominance tag and a tag she's interested in.

Also, IIrc, there should be a way to lower her Assertiveness through some events.
Off the top of my head, I want to suggest looking for her in the Bar on Mon or Fri nights.
