if you are writing a walkthrough please post it here later and include times and requirements on for scenes at each AT with requirements for example if you have immoral skill leveled you can spy on the early AT becky cuz she doesn't lock her door at night which is something i definately missed in my first playthrough and the wiki thing linked here does have some of them but doesn't mention any scenes that earlier on in the game, they start mentioning scenes on later content like boozer diane and impressionable sister becky
Yea, I'm going to try to record and organize as much as possible. It's proving kind of annoying because any useful information is few and far between. There's the incomplete walkthrough, the incomplete wiki, previous notes I took, the tutorial, and then this thread which really is mostly:
- people complaining about the game
- people defending the dev to the point where it gets kinda gross
- people asking the same dumb questions over and over again ("Where are the save files? How do I play this game? If you're someone who managed to figure out how the conversation system works on your own, I don't think you're smart I just think everyone else is dumb. It's not that complicated. It's the various and unexpected transformation/scene requirements that gave me a hard time.)
- posts where no one is sure whether it's a bug or it's some crazy, hidden requirement
- people asking questions about the same really ATs that are really complicated (Boozer Mother, how the hell does Dominance/Submission work, etc.)
- sometimes a few pages of blatant off-topic discussion which is ... weird but whatever. If the dev's cool with it, it's whatever.
Then the last 10% is actually something useful and new.
It might take a week or two, honestly. Plus, it might not have absolutely everything because I'll eventually have to take a look at the code itself and decipher what the hell I'm looking at to really get everything. But I'll definitely try to make note of all the scenes since that's kind of half the point of the game.
See, that's the issue: the game already has too many ATs and topics and shit. Look at how much time he took to try and fix the game. It is still buggy, despite his efforts. He is also working on superpowered. That's another game with too much things going on. So God knows when he would work on loser again. Which is a shame because despite all the bugs and the grind, I do like this game. Maybe it's the mental masochist in me, but i actually enjoy the grind. But when all the grind gives no result, it annoys me. I couldn't get the immediagram AT on Becky and now I can't get scorned mother AT on Diane. Forget the new things, the old things aren't working that smoothly either
I'm honestly okay with waiting. I don't really care. As long as he keeps working on it, I'll keep playing it. Unless people stop making cheat mods for it and I haven't learned C# by the time to make my own.
I can't imagine playing without a cheat mod, even if you don't install with the intention of cheating it just becomes so crucial as a workaround for potential bugs in the game until the bug is found and patched. It also just turns into a much more casual game when I don't have to constantly worry about Stamina, Focus, etc which allows me to more freely explore (since that's the other point of the game).
I also get tired of the constant bugs but to be fair, it's a pretty complex system he's built. I like the game because it's a break from the soppy VNs with the same bitchboi MC and the same cringeass story. It feels like an actual game but casual and I actually like coming up with strategies to change ATs and see scenes as efficiently as possible. The dev's also come a LONG WAY with Quality of Life features. It was so painful a few years ago: memory leaks, transitions took forever, had to click-click-click on your mouse to do anything even more so than now, the list goes on.
I just kind of see bugs as just inevitable in a system this complex so I try to take it in stride (while also using the cheat mod to workaround some issues). Although those bugs are kind of getting in the way of me writing a walkthrough because I'm thinking, "Did the dev change this aspect of the game, was it always like this and I'm just misremembering, or is this a bug?"
I personallly would like to see more variety in the ATs, cars, houses, locations and see his complete vision come to fruition. This game has a lot of potential, I've never really seen anything like it except I guess maybe his other game, Superpowered.
